Alright, System Wars. I wanna see a clean fight!
I'll go with Sony. Microsoft's apparent megaton, Halo 5, looked mind numbingly boring. Horizon was easily the best new IP shown at E3 so far.
IMO both tied. Sony would have won by an inch if they showed more exclusives and their megaton was a game we didn't know about. Games like FF7 remake, we know are coming to other consoles.
Every gaming journalist rolls their eyes whenever someone talks about "winning" E3 but leave it to Gamespot to throw fuel in the fire.
I will play along since they started it. Sony "won" by a long shot. Their conference was like Cow fan-fiction come to life. Microsoft was ok but there were no "wow" moments like Sony had tonight.
I expect Nintendo to bring it tomorrow too though. Will there be a re-vote once Nintendo goes, @GameSpot or do they not count?

What wow moments did Sony have exactly? A dull looking TLG demo that they had to show? The FF7 remake thats a multiplat? Announcing a kickstarter for a multiplat?
Sony conferences are always smoke and mirrors, meaning they will show games with great graphics but when you really keep an eye on these games, there's no exact release dates and these games will most likely get delayed, downgraded and even canceled. Sony showed the same stuff like 5 years on a row now. Hell we'll probably see The Last Guardian next E3. MS had megatons and substance for us gaming consumers. Xbox Won in the real world while Sony could win in a SW poll.

Those were all big announcements to games that people care about. Multiplat or not those were "wow" moments in their conference. They had a much bigger impact than Halo 5 or Gears did for Microsoft. It's not a good thing when announcing backwards compatibility is the big moment of your show.
Sony won obviously. Microsoft got eaten, and their bones were thrown to the dogs. It's surprising how they still make consoles when all they do is get shit on, year in and year out.
Sony's conference will probably be remembered for a long time.
The biggest Gigatons in gaming that broke Gaf several times were announced in 1 night, in a conference.
Nobody honestly thought this was essentially feasible 24 hours ago. No f*cking way.

We also saw some hologram stuff too, but that's so boring. I'd much rather be excited for a game that was announced 7 years ago, I always love looking in the rear view.
I didnt think SONY did that well but people seem to think they did amazing... IDK
I didnt see M$'s but I read what was not worthy from them and the only thing to rave about is that Backwards Compatability thing.
Sony had alot of multiplats, and they keep hyping up that flop No Man's Sky. That Last Guardian demo seemed like an old lost and found footage from 2009 made for the PS3. The game will be a massive flop too when it comes out.
Only thing I care for was Horizon and U4 (which we have seen last year).
I didnt care for that Dream game, none of those small tittle looked good, dont care for multplat COD, multiplat Star Wars, multiplat Batman, multiplat Ass Creed, multiplat Hitman, multiplay FF7, multiplat Shenmue 3. Never card for Street Fighter (which we have known about for months).
To me the most disappointing thing was that there was no announcements of new system features and such... cuz **** that UI needs and update.

So you care more about big announcements than interesting games? noted
It's really this simple.
What game(s) were you really wanting Microsoft to announce that you didn't know about yet and hoping to see?

Tally up column A versus column B.
Forget the fanboyism wars and all that for a moment. We're all watching E3 for game announcements at the end of the day. So, who made it worth your time to watch?
Think I may have actually dozed off in the middle of the Sony conference. Still anyone with half a brain already knows who will win this poll on here.
Microsoft, both had good conferences, only interested in Uncharted 4 for Sonys system, which I will buy a Ps4 to play. I hate the corporate suites at Sony, whenever they talk all I see if $$$$$ in their eyes and coming rom their mouths, wish companies would do what Ubisoft do, even if it is a little cringe worthy, it seems more like they have fun with games, an informal conference is much better. The last gaurdian looked rubbish, I've got cheap $5 steam games that looks far better. I hope Shenmues kickstarter gets increased into the 100million+ mark as for $2m the game will be one level and thats it.
@mems_1224: That was a weak jab, you should delete that comment while you still can. 2/10, but since I'm in a generous mode today I'll give you a 3/10 a matching rating with MS's press conference.
I'm still not gonna lie though, from a technical standpoint that backwards compatibility does impress me if it's 100% what I think it is.
But from a new games standpoint Microsoft just got shit on, especially losing their old exclusives partners to Sony. I am intrigued by that robot dinosaur game though because it looks like it might actuly have some gameplay.
So this is why it is Cowspot. The blind live in the darkness.
Microsoft has too much to list. Sony has too much bad 2019 filler that won't see the light of day to list.
FYI FF7 is multiplat as well as No Mans Sky.
Tomb Raider confirmed never to be on PS4.
I'd say tied MIS had an amazing show especially with HoloLens and BC. Halo 5 didn't intrigue me the rare collection and Rare Seas of Thieves looked fun!! But Sony had an amazing showing albeit lots coming 2016 is a little sad still fantastic.

Um the big announcements were of interesting games.
Horizon, No Mans Sky, The Last Guardian, Shenmue 3 and the FF7 remake > Gears, Halo 5 and Minecraft augmented reality stuff.
Sony won. They certainly built the hype, but it's all focused around games that are so far away which stinks. Still, what they showed was great.
I loved a bunch from Microsoft's conference but it lost a bit of steam in the middle, the demo for Tomb Raider was a bore, and it lacked some of the surprises that Sony had. Dat backwards compatibility though.
MS so far. At least they have stuff coming out this year. Sony's was fun to watch, but it was all flash in the pan. A lot of multiplats, no release dates ect.
I've waiting to see what Nintendo has tomorrow.
