Beat me to it! The only reason it has so many remasters is because Sony has a huge library of games built up from previous gens. If MS had that kind of library, they'd be capable of doing similar numbers.

Shame too, the fact the Wii U has more games than both Xb1 and PS4 shows that they can't get as much support as Nintendo.

I can see why. With all the people jumping the sinking ship that is xbox there is alot of people who have not played these games yet. I got the PS4 with TLOU as my first game and loved it. Uncharted will be the 2nd remaster I get unless the game is broken like MS does with its remasters.

Its sickening to see all these remasters. Gen7.5 outside of Wii U has been a disgusting experience. Thank god for PC. I'll never have to touch one of the twins ever.

Both consoles have remasters. MS doesn't have a lot of 1st party exclusives worth remastering, Most of their games were 3rd party. Halo was just remastered, what big titles does that leave them, Forza (releases every year, so no need for a remaster), Fable (A new one coming out in a few months and they just remastered Fable 1 for the X360, most of their other games worth mentioning were 3rd party and Gears was technically 3rd party but MS just bought the gears franchise, but what other franchises does MS have worth rereleasing? Crackdown? Only reason it sold was for the Halo 3 Beta that came with it then it was dead right after release.

Sony is releasing these games for people who are making the switch from 360 to PS4, or just didn't own a PS3 last gen. It's not targeted at the people who already played them. Why does this bother you so much? If MS had a bigger 1st party presence, they would do the same thing, but they relied on 3rd party for most of last gen. Hence why they remastered their largest franchise and are remastering the other big franchise that they just bought. I can see Gears 2 and 3 being remastered after 1 releases if they don't announce that it is actually a collection at E3. I think they fear another MCC, so releasing them individually is probably the route they would take.

Then there's the fact that some of the games on the PS4 list aren't really remasters. How is Broken Age a remaster? FF Type-0 was never released outside of Japan. Also lol at "Console exclusive", MS fans will be using that a lot this gen as X1 will share a lot of games with PC.
