This developer will try to sell you a shitty hack n slash on nothing but a chick wearing a bunch of striptease level latex armor sets, which you most certainly gonna be able to buy for $20 (Korean game, so its to be expected) a pop on their mtx store on day one.

Remove this coomer's bait, and replace her by a standard looking male. What do you see gameplay wise? A 5/10 game nobody will even notice outside of it being an exclusive, and when the exclusives are as scarce as they are, the ones that come out get way more attention than what they deserve, which this is a perfect example of such a game.

Predicting it now. When you sit down to restore some health, you will be able to purchase overly sexualized sitting/resting animations for $2-3 a pop. This is where we are at with Korean developers.

Yes, possibly guardians, its been a while, don't remember. But that's another ultra mediocre game with surprisingly decent writing and acting. Its core gameplay was soooo bad, tho.

IDK about what is essentially video game version of HBO's "Skin-a-max" (look that one up, young-uns), but Stellar Blade does look fun. The graphics look pretty good, but kinda creepy-sexist. Still, if the game is fun to play, I'd overlook that. PS5 fans should be excited over that one.

Just take the scene at 38 seconds. That looks interchangeable with the Crysis 2 or 3 remaster.

I get the criticism of tempting simps to buy costumes through microtransactions but it's refreshing to have a female hero that doesn't look like a cashier at Home Depot.

Not seeing that much resemblance between her irl and the 3d model. Her 3d model looks exactly like every single female in every chinese or a korean game. Doll looking, massive tits and ass in the air, and that's that. Generic as ****, and nothing but a bait for dudes cuz they're unable to create quality content, so they attract gamers with sex appeal. Black Desert is the perfect example of this.

Now, i am not saying i want Spiderman2 level females as a protagonist, **** no, but its the same "zero personality" dolls in every korean and chinese game, and i am so sick of this shit. She looks exactly like some random ai generated porn model would look like.

Yea I'm kinda torn on this. I think the visuals look pretty amazing from a technical standpoint but the art style is a little whacky for me. Honestly the entire time I watched the trailer it just made me want another Devil May Cry. But it's giving me Nier Automata vibes. I'll wait for reviews on this.

Personally not seeing anything amazing looking. Assets look ultra repetitive and bland. You know what this game reminds me off of when it comes to the environment? Immortals of Aveum, a game digital foundry praised so much for its visuals, but everything i saw about the game looked so samey and fugly, that i consider it being one of the ugliest games i've seen in years. What good is technical power when your dev team creates the assets on par with what's on the Unreal assets store? Compare the environment of Black Myth Wukong to this trash, and you will see what i mean. And their art directions don't matter, simply pay attention to the diversity, originality and detail of assets in both titles, and you will very quickly notice how dogshit Stellar Blade is in comparison.

There is no discernment between any specific aspects of the game with a statement like that. Even saying that, the environments of the game don't look like complete CGI doesn't suddenly mean they "look like shit".

I personally don't mind, I'll be honest, I haven't seen a lot this gen outside of say Horizon and one or two other games which even looks next gen. As a retro gamer, I'm okay with this. Tbh a lot of the hype of this gen goes over my head, I don't get it.

No way this is as bad as Xbox 360. You may want to look at a 360 game before you make that statement. However, it does look a lot like Fallout 4 graphics as far as environment goes, I'll give you that, and that was not a great looking game even on release.
