Exclusive demos are just, well, very odd especially when there’s going to be another demo available on all platforms later on anyway. Regardless I don’t need any demo myself as this game will be a day one purchase for me anyway. 🤷‍♂️

Just going to point out that from the app... the demo isn't downloadable yet. It freezes when you add it to library pulling up a sign in page when you're already signed in. Doesn't actually let you sign in regardless.

Yet another reason to own ps5 over x-series x did people really need another one? Sony is slaying first Demon Souls Remake gets 90 on metacritic now this. Stick a fork in phil speners xbox brand its done.

Why? Aren't alot of multiplats running better on PS5 stuff like Valhaala and Dirt 5 and stuff are performing better on PS5. Wouldn't you want to play the best version you just don't give a crap?

When I was on 360 and ps3 i bought the game that ran the best on which platform I was on same with ps4 an xb1.

Shadows of mordor was 1080p on ps4 and like 720p on xb1 why the hell i would pay for less?

XB1 got a Switch Port of a better graphical ps4 game Dragonquest XI on the same token why buy that on xb1 when you can play the same version on switch portably anywhere. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense does it. Or get the PS4 version which came years ago and look better graphically. You skipped over that part.

Secondly I don't buy big multiplat games on my switch lite. I don't own the normal switch. The only multiplat I bought so far for it is Skyrim legendary edition and that looks fine to me on my switch lite.

I mostly buy classic collections, switch exclusives, and indies...and maybe ps3/360 remasters. I'm not buying multiplats like the new Doom or Doom eternal for my switch lite when I have a gtx 1070 pc with 3440x1440p monitor. Thats where I play those games at not on a console.

I might get some multiplats on switch tho if they. look good enough and are still fun.

You do get a good look at Lady Dimitrescu (the tall vampire lady) at the end, though.

Being able to play the demo before the game comes out is a pretty big deal to me as a gamer I like to check out a game before I buy it, of course it'll be no big to deal to you and archangel and lems some herms on here I bet.

So yeah its just demo yet it helps people make purchasing decision the demo's are actually pretty fun sometimes there so many reason why this sucks for pc and xbox owners and is great for ps5 owners. There no upside for xbox or PC only playstation 5.

It’s not even a “real demo” of the game as there’s no combat mechanics and you play as some character called, Maiden. I guess if you want a true representation of the game to make a more informed purchasing decision then it looks like you’ll just have to wait for the other demo that hits all platforms in Spring.

Let's not forget the P.T. Demo had no combat whatsoever and was wanna the best Demo's I've ever played. You don't need combat to make very fun convincing demo that is going to be a blast to play I guess your not into those kinda demo those.

Context. P.T. was a one-off demo, as far as we knew then. As I already mentioned twice before, there will be a second demo for all platforms later for RE8. Everyone will get a chance to make an informed purchase decision, not just PS5 players.

Yeah but let's be real here. Having an exclusive built from scratch demo to explore the jail of the castle with a unique character is just a win for PS5 owners and just sucks for xbox / pc owners who never get to play that part of the game.

It's just clear cut win for PS5 owners and a L for everyone else. Thats just how it is P.T. was a fun win for PS4 owners this is PS5 owners little sweet exclusive demo. Thats just how life goes.

It's a nice little extra, but hardly worth crowing about. I for one certainly wouldn't make a thread about if it was hypothetically PC exclusive; it's just so unsubstantial, especially in the context of the upcoming second demo. Please expect more from the game industry, AAA publishers love it when people are easily impressed.

With the dual sense it depends, I don't really like Sony exclusives all that much outside God of War, but for multi plat shooters, if they support dual sense, may have to get it on ps5 unless it's on gamepass

Plus if a game is performing better on another platform I'd just rather buy the better version of the game. Like Dirt 5 or Valhaala running better on PS5 I just want the better version.
