Yeah, F Sony and their stupid boring story games. Whos ready to play yet another amazing Remake. First we had Dead Space, then Metroid Prime, and now this? Boy, what a year. Now we can all beg Capcom to Remake the best Resident Evil game ever made, and that being the Resident Evil Code Veronica.

Got it on preorder, I played 5 minutes of the demo and knew I would love it.

I guess it was the roundhouse kick that did it for me.

With games costing 70 euro these days I don't even scuff at €50 for games. I just buy them straight away.

The only thing those big publishers have done is make their biggest competitors games look like a better deal.

Its too bad you own an X (thanks to Elden Ring, a game you were incredibly desperate to play). I would've liked seeing you suffer with your useless Switch, and miss yet another masterpiece that can't even run its title screen on that damn system.

Got it preordered. Also finished up 8 in time. Neato.

Apparently the game has no shader compilation stutters on PC. Sweet.

At least its one where I haven't played or heard much about original.

What were your thoughts on village? Seems to get a lot of flak but I liked fighting werewolves for once instead of Zombies.

There are loading stutters on every platform, just to be clear. Digital Foundry has a video on that.

@R4gn4r0k: I'm okay with that for the most part. Traversal stutters don't usually affect combat.

Oh absolutely, intense shader compilation stutter absolutely destroys a players experience, as it happens every time an effect is drawn on the screen for the first time.

but I'm playing several games now that have traversal stutters and it doesn't bug me that much. I wish it wasn't there, sure, but it's tolerable.

Can't wait to relive this part where some shady merchant is trying to sell me weapon upgrades inside the sewers.

Holding off, RE8 was a mess on PC. And not a very fun game despite the praise.

I have the collectors edition preordered from GameStop! Also, what is CR? Would be nice if TC spelled it out. 93 on metacritic and 10 from GS!

@R4gn4r0k: I find most of them enjoyable. I actually can't think of one I hated. It varies, but not by much. Solid, long running franchise that they could've ran into the ground long ago. But Capcom is still more than competent.

Another game that reminded me very much of Resident Evil, though perhaps not as good was The Medium. Did you play that dimension shifting adventure?

Only downside is that i'm still missing a next gen platform and it runs kind of meh in my old PS4 (chainsaw demo), so maybe I'll wait a bit to get it.

This was already a masterpiece from what I’ve always heard from RE fans, so really Capcom only had to fix some things here and there, maybe add a thing or two, and then it becomes utter perfection.

I wasn’t going to buy this game until I played the demo. Super fun. It’s like a whole new game despite being a remake. :3

Don't waste this game on 2010 hardware.

@mesome713: It's great to see two GameCube classics get updated recently. Both Metroid Prime Remastered and Resident Evil 4. I think people are starting to realize there was great games on the GameCube.

I have been shitting on Forspoken two years before it was even released. Back when shitting on the game was considered racist by our SJW posters, cuz you know, you can't say anything negative when the protonist is a minority. If you posted more than once a month, you'd know that.
