Sony removes Cyberpunk from PS Store

So you could put in 40 hours and get a refund on cyberpunk and that whole article IGN put out was worthless?

Before cp2077, you could buy any game digitally on Xbox, play it a few hours and ask for a refund. If you abuse it....as in you ask for refunds with multiple games or play a game for 40 hours and ask for a refund, Xbox will probably not issue a refund.

Before cp2077, Sony would not issue refunds. The only times they would issue refunds would be if you haven't downloaded the game....or some other exceptional circumstances like the game was bugged. Even then, games like NMS weren't uniformly refunded. On Dec 18 when people asked for refunds for cp2077 because it was a mess....Sony refused. A few days later, they relented after talks with the Devs.

At the same time, Xbox gave players the choice to keep the game, get a refund even if you finished the game, or buy the game and wait for updates or enhancements.

So yes, Xbox players were getting refunds on cp2077 before Ps owners.

That was the debate.....and yes, you can play any game for 40 hours and ask for a refund. If ms don't think you're abusing the system, you'll get a refund....but that wasn't the debate until you started shifting posts when you lost the original argument.

Who cares? Microsoft is continuing to sell a broken game on their store which is ruining consumer trust and making M$ lose any credibility for pushing gaming forward. This could be gaming crash like Atari 2600 with E.T. what is microsoft doing FFS do they even care about anything?

No piece of information says this. Everything indicates that Sony and CDPR came to an agreement. In fact, this discussion between Sony and CDPR occured after the initial business complaint was filed by Sony to CDPR.

If X-Series X and PS5 owners want to play it they can still pickup a physical copy at a retail store. It shouldn't be for sale on digital marketplace where the vast majority of your consumers are buying a broken game. Its not morally right.

Correction: if Series X owners want to play it they can either download it or buy it physically. It's called having a choice. Tyrant Sony says 'jump' and you say 'how high'.

That's because I've pretty much dropped Playstation like a hot potato since I got my One X and Game Pass Ultimate.

Even so, and if I don't touch any of my Playstation systems for the entire new gen, you won't catch up to me on PSN even if you started playing PS5 right now.
