Sony State of Play this Thursday (2/25)! 30 minutes long! #NintenDONT

Time for another State of Play! This Thursday, a State of Play broadcast will serve up new updates and deep dives for 10 games coming to PS4 and PS5, including new game announcements and updates on some of the third-party and indie titles you last saw in June’s PS5 showcase.

The show is clocking it at 30 minutes or so, give or take. Can’t wait to hear what you think! And a quick note: there won’t be PlayStation hardware or business-focused updates in this show. We’re focusing on great games set to come out in the months ahead.

I expect to see more games Sony paid third parties to keep off Xbox for a few months than Sony first party games.

I might be convinced to buy a PS5 though if they remaster the Motorstorm games, or do a proper Patapon trilogy re-release.

Ok... "updates and deep dives" tells me nothing new will be announced. It'll be about Horizon and maybe a new God of War sequel trailer. Not overly hyped.

Better be a packed 30 minutes because that's not long at all. I know we'll see more Ratchet and Clank, Returnal and Kena but show me something else guys. Feed me!

How can it end up poorly when the original thing, the actual Nintendo Direct was below laughing stock levels? The worse thing that can happen is for state of play to match the last 5+ Nintendo Directs, which were a meme to say the least. But Sony isn't stupid, if they had so little to show, they wouldn't be having a direct.

You have no idea how shit it was. There are multiple layers of shit, and let me tell you, they were deep, real deep. Sony can't get there, its reserved to Konami, Ubisoft, EA, Nintendo and Minecon.
