I have heard rumors it's timed exclusive. But, I have no link that verifies that. There was a leak that it was a 3 month timed exclusive, but there is no mention that it will be ported to PS5.

It's possible that was the reason for the delay, but I think there will be 60fps on Series X and 30fps on Series S
It features Lumen which, on other UE5 games, the Series S has reduced quality to achieve the same frame rate, so maybe they would have to tweak that specifically for that console to make sure they have the desired look throughout the game.
Looking forward to this game, I just really hope it's not laden with this whole toxic machismo bullshit we see in a lot of games from that region.

I suppose, at this point, I’ve just been too spoiled by STALKER’s modding community to be in any way optimistic about this. I mean, how much of the original developer’s vision am I enjoying?
I can only hope for a strong foundation to be built on, but from the looks of the promotional videos, it looks like they’ve designed it to appeal to the casual, console, action COD and Battlefield gamers. Given market trends, not much I can blame them for doing so, but it’s not why I enjoy the franchise.

original reveal wass waay too scripted and i was disappointed by it. even I was complaining about this game until next trailer which show more faithful gameplay. plus previews and leaked make it faithful to original.
Very excited for this game. My PC is out of date now and I doubt the Steam Deck will play it. So I just might have to get a PS5 and just wait the three months before it comes out on that platform. Won't be hard since I am loving BG3. I see myself playing it till the end of the year.

if its 2024 release than its really amazing year. STALKER 2 and commandos in same year. long awaited sequels.

avowed started when they bought the studio. its only been what 2 years? dont think its coming yet.
