Thanks Xantu. Need to get into RTS to pass the lockdown time in my country, played all my fav action games or cant afford the newer games right away. Want to explore RTS , i guess i will start with Stracraft as its free as you mentioned and get COH or DOW games on sales next time. I'll explore the historical RTS games later as i was also thinking about CIV games. I will ask for you for more recommendations down the line.

Think play through OG Ghost Recon again, haven't played that shit in years. Never touched it expansions either.

Going back to Rogue Spear was wonderful.

Just saw Mortal kombat.

Its far worse than 1995 movie. only thing they did better is subzero and scorpion rivalry.

the new main character suck. why they didnot focus on lieu kang as main character instead created the movie own character who is bland.

Started playing FF15, time to see what all the hate is about.

Beat Resi 7 and it’s dlc. End of Zoe is hilarious lol. Anyway I knew ghost n cup would be wrong, it’s the least good, but still good Resident Evil game. But least good, make no mistake.

@jg4xchamp: Only played about 2 hours of 7. Wasn't doing it.

One of the things like about RE is the eccentricity, takes inspiration from Western stuff, but tweaks it with Japanese weirdness. 7 feels like generic Texas Chainsaw Massacre shit. Maybe that changes later but the early impressions were not good.

7s DLC has you play as an old man who punches the monsters, throws spears at aligators, and power bombs one of the bosses. And when I say power bomb, I mean Kevin Nash from wrestling jackknife as power bomb, and all of that is somehow not the craziest thing about that DLC.

Otherwise I think the main game needed some course correction and dial back the crazy in the early going get back to the more subdued horror that this series never was, and after some admittedly drawn out intro you play some classic resi. Big puzzle box interconnected environment where you go back n forth solve a baby puzzle, grab an item/key bring it to another area, move around enemies, find stronger weapons if you are thorough with your exploration.

Classic resi. Then it becomes more n more of an action game, and since they took out all the fun mechanics of 4,5, n 6 that give those games their skill ceiling in mercs, and because it’s a first person shooter that’s just slow, with strong accurate weapons, it’s also situationally lacking the depth of scenarios from fixed camera resi, the action ain’t strong enough to hold up its end of the bargain beyond feeling good and still being in a nice moody setting, even if it’s another barge in resident evil.

Either way I have it on the low end between 5 and and 6s campaign, tho it’s more respectable than 5. It’s just I’d rather play 5, and id rather play 6 mercs, but society isn’t ready for 6 mercs is better than most video games conversation.

@wandering_halls: hmm on pc via emulation? Anyhow games there is old. Personal fav is Tales of The Abyss I love Luke story, really well written character and the support cast is great. Basically my fav Tales of game. Tales of Symphonia is also fav of many and got a steam/ps3 HD collection which include the sequel.

Got Symphonia on the recent Steam sale. Others I got through **magic**.

Have you played Berseria/Zestiria?

@wandering_halls: definitely. Played almost all Tales of games except for the PSP spin off Tales of the World and the japanese only titles. If you want the best tales of combat its Tales of Graces F on PS3 (I think got Wii fan patched english ver if you unable to secure the PS3 ver).

Just finished the game. 8 hours, and I think I explored a bit. Par for the course for Resident Evil games.

Standard, is again, way too easy. Outside of bosses, game is a pushover. Might do Village of Shadows next.

Installed like 240 games onto my Xbox One X and my external hard drive, feels good knowing I won't need to wait to play the games that interest me most. :P

Yeah, I've been intrigued by the series for a long time. Always wanted to play, and finally I'm getting around to it.

@wandering_halls: I love Tales of Vesperia so much that I got all the achievements for the game and despite what the internet says, I thought Berseria was a better game than Persona 5 personally.

Well, hehe, Persona 5 is pretty much my game of the gen. I love it a bit too much, lol. We'll see how much I like Berseria, and Tales in general. I'm thinking of playing the games chronologically by release, so it's going to be a while before I get to Berseria, it seems.

@wandering_halls: Haha fair enough, just be aware that the games between Graces f to Zestiria really really play up the anime tropes and friendship stuff. The director didn't like the deconstruction elements from the other games for some reason.

So close to fighting the last boss in Returnal. Can't believe I may actually beat this game 😄 almost 40 hours in and close to 100 deaths.

@iamdavey: Honestly I'm cool with the anime and social link stuff; I love it in Persona, so it's just natural to me. I'm tempted to start with Berseria/Zesteria, but at the same time want to experience the series from the early days onward.

But I mean, he actively hanged around kids, and very specifically boys, seemed to have next to no interest in hanging around girls. That and he looks like "elp me!" guy from Robocop. Replaying playing Ghost Recon. It's bizarre going back in that it has a dedicated "mod" button with legitimate expansions than what Ubisoft is now. Namely a massive ****.

Going back to Rogue Spear and Ghost Recon also makes weirdly sad, in sense that these very unique genre defining games just got completely bastardized. Hit on the head with a mallet until all it could do was dribble and make noises resembling sentences.

And it worked. Even worse.

The "Heroes Unleashed" mod is fucking amazing. Like, 27gb of content, gameplay, visual improvements ect... Very polished, sensible changes.

In general, between the two, OG Rainbow 6 is clearly better. The main problem with Ghost Recon is a lack of control that Rainbow 6 provides. It's more accessible with a focus on long range combat, it unfortunately becomes so focused on long range combat that that the snipers becomes be all and end all.

Just like, commanding your guys in a much wider open environment inherently isn't as interesting as the tight puzzle boxes of Rogue Spear.

He and George Michael will be always my favourite artists of all time.

Got the Mass Effect: Legacy Collection pre-ordered. I've never played the series before but I'm really excited to try them out at last.

Debating whether to play as Female Shepard or male Shepard.

I been with ME series since it made it's debut on Xbox 360 and yes, I'll be getting the Legendary Edition on PC despite I already have'em on PC. I pick male Shepard the first time I play it and went female on my second play. Play male first throughout the trilogy and go female on the second play IMO.

While Bo Katan was based off Katee Sackhoff appearance, Fallen Order is obviously a literal face scan of Cameron Monaghan, along with a few other characters.
