@ezekiel43: Love Rayman, like not big on platformers but put this in front of me, i'll play it. Pretty much remained consistently great since it's first entry without Ubisoft doing what they typically do with anything good.

It was free giveway at uplay store sometime ago. Its still in my library, untouched lol.

I found it a useful purchase on Switch, though pricier than on other platforms. The portability allowed me to play it while at work or while commuting. I barely play any of my free games.

Just finished Life Is Strange: Before the Storm episode 2. I can't believe 62 percent of gamers emptied their pockets for that authoritarian douche David. Never knew gamers were so submissive.

just started playing death stranding this weekend. first impressions after ~10 hours is it's pretty good and more accessible than i expected. it's an incredibly well presented game. the visuals and soundtrack are absolutely top tier. there's a lot of game lore and jargon to absorb but most of it is digestible beyond a few bits i'm still getting my head around. and the game itself is really quite engrossing. there's something weirdly hypnotic about traversing the environments and it's already getting quite tactical. whether it continues to hold my interest remains to be seen but so far so good

But yeah, glad you're enjoying it so far. Was so caught up discussing the gameplay before, never got into the audio/visual aspects. Really great stuff. I've never stopped so many times in a game just to check out some landscapes. And even though the licensed tracks can hit just right sometimes, the actual ost has a killer sci fi feel. Same composer they had for MGSV, dude really knows how to ramp a situation up and gradually bring it back down.

While you've got it snatched, recommend check out "Until You Fall", pretty boss game. Really nails down melee combat.

Alyx is a good game to go with, not just the fact it's one of the better VR games, but it has a lot of accessibility options and does movement properly to help alleviate spilling your guts out on a first time use.

Really wish I knew if my neighbors are just trying to get exercise up there or if they trample several times a day to get back at my sub woofer and masturbation. So annoying. I don't remember so much of it before covid-19, but I exercise more outside than I did before.

@Macutchi: Big Picture is a nice app as well, free. Although your mileage may vary. The visual quality is inherently lower and certain people straight up can't sit for that length of time. It is however, pretty awesome of giving the illusion of watching content on a far larger screen once get use to it.

Their is also some nice mods to existent flatscreen games, Quake 1/2 and pretty much every Doom game including 3 work great. Although if you're just starting with VR, very bad idea to play these first for obvious reasons.

Panthers should be in full "tank for Lawrence" mode now.
