New tv is great. Has some really awesome features like Dolby Vision and VRR. Not the same quality as QLED though, that Samsung really spoiled me. :(

Practically every single entry since it's inception has had the option to play as woman. In some cases like Resident Evil: Revelations the male is basically a side character to play.

Having said that, Chris did kill 3/4 of the African population. But he done it was a hot black lady, still technically counts as progressive imo.

Still need to play those 2 latest Tomb Raiders my freind. Played Tomb Raider (2011) and fucking hated that shit. Not that the games prior weren't bad either.

Do hear these are markedly improved from people who actually play the franchise extensively, but can't be bothered seeing.

None of tomb raider games are actually good.

deep into cobra kai season 3. it's impressive how they manage to get just the right amount of cheese into an episode. it's all very watchable. nice turn your brain off and enjoy kind of tv

Stranger Things kind of reminds me of Lost, where everyone went bananas and in retrospect, it isn't that great.

Wouldn't say CK is perfect either, the children allegiances become super repetitive. But it's mostly good shit. Heavy, heavy Starwars vibes.

Kind of funny Chief O'Brien never actually had a character centric episode until 12 episodes in of season 4. Cracking episode though.

@uninspiredcup: yeah it's definitely not perfect, the teen soap drama bit can grate in places, and it is undoubtedly cheese, but it never gets too cheesy or at least not for too long. definitely better than stranger things in that regard. i liked season 1 and the 80s nostalgia mixed with mysterious horror theme, but it quickly started to unravel from there and i progressively lost interest

Oh, in other news, I finally got my 3080 today, went to try Cyberpunk, and I think the new patch broke some stuff with the streaming engine on PC.

I look at a vehicle, and it's a truck. Turn around, look back, and now it's a car, which first appears in real low detail, then uprezzes right in front of me. Turn away and then back real quick, now it's a different car! LOL.

The reason why it's so high is because said hedge funds are buying the stock that they shorted in order to recoup their losses. Had a plan to make a ton of money, then had to pull a complete 180 to prevent themselves from losing it 😂

Oh, it's gonna collapse like a bunch of cards, but thankfully some scummy investors may get wiped out in the process.

Vehicles changing? That's straight-up Cyberpunk baby. They just switch out, and when you see one in the distance, they'll just disappear as they're only 2D objects far out. Though update 1.1 did throw a game-breaking bug, so watch out for that.

Other than that, how's the 3080? Still waiting on my 5900x, so i'm in limbo.
