Finishing easter eggs on Cod Zombies PS4. On only a weekend nights Australia. Can't really play with overseas due to ping.

I will be playing Anthem on PC February 15. I'm not exactly sure what timezone you are in, I live in the U.S Eastern standard time and I'm usually on at 8:00pm-11:00pm and on weekends mostly Saturdays are 10:00am and it varies what time I'll be off. So come find me on EA Origin if you wish to play Anthem.

Finally cleared Claire's campaign in RE2 on Normal. Got an A in both Leon and Claire's campaigns. Not sure if I wanna do Hardcore...

I would post my gamertag up here and ask people to play some racing games, but i'm still waiting for @SolidTy to make good on the bet he made with me a long time ago.

He has disappeared from this site, possibly because I triggered him enough to make a bet, and then he knew I would win and he couldn't live it down :(

He probably thought he was special, he came across as someone who thought he was better than everybody else, which is why he's probably pissed that I got the better of him.

I only ever made 1 bet on here and he couldn't even honour it.

It seems this thread died really quickly, maybe the people who talk a lot on SW don't really have any gaming devices in which to play with other people.

@i_p_daily: Nah @SolidTy was a good guy, he was always nice to me and never got the sense that he thought he was better. We had some good times over at HYPE. I miss the old crew :(. Why did Gamespot remove unions?

It butchered the community... The forum felt less personal and lots of folks just didn't feel at home. The sad thing is the forum needed a redesign. They just shouldn't have cut ties with the things that kept people coming back.

GS revamp 2013 truly hurt the site, GS lost like over 1,000 members and if I remember correctly, Mods were very aggressive towards users, they forgot how to not be jerks and that too hurt this site.

And before somebody ask how do I know this? I was a lurker here in 2011. I watch everything happening from the shadows until I join Oct. 2014. I just come to GS out of a bad habit lol.

@TheEroica: Would say the redesign wasn't worth it. Regardless, I do wish they brought back clubs/unions. It encouraged people to be more personal and there were a bunch of union events. My most fond memories of this site were in the old SW lounges which used to be crazy active, and the PUSH and HYPE unions. Even today I still think System Wars is great but it definitely lost that personal touch.

Not everyone used gamespot the same. I know for me I only started using this site after I started playing kotor... I'd only read the forum for that one game... Then I found system wars. Unions, forums, game pages.... There was an identity with where community congregated and it was more entertaining... The site was a glitchy mess.... I had high hopes when they redesigned. It was right when I became a mod and Synthia would send me images and beta links to try it... I remember thinking, "well, it works well, but they're gonna hate it."

@TheEroica: I do miss Synthia (DigitalDame) I think she did the best she could before passing the torch to someone new now. Synthia really like my various anime pics back then, she was cool to talk to.

He proposed a bet, I then accepted & then he wouldn't move forward with the bet by showing his gamertag, as he came up with excuse after excuse, which in the end just confirmed his defeat :)

On the thread topic, if anyone is interested, I play player matches in Tekken 7 on PC quite often. Can also fire up my PS4 version too. I do not judge on skill level, in fact I would very much enjoy guiding anyone through the fundamentals. No arcade stick required, your keyboard will work great for most characters :) controllers are fine too. PM me if you're down.

I also play Call of duty blops 4 quite a bit, some fortnite, and I'm gonna try to get into apex too.

@X_CAPCOM_X: Lol yeah he did do that. I don't know where he went, we had a HYPE playstation group away from gamespot but it's not active anymore.

Tried this today for the first time with a friend after sitting on Steam list for X years, pretty fucking fun. We suck ass at it though, couldn't get past the first 3 stages. :/

Take your time with it .. Just like dead cells there's a pace you hit where you are just acing through segments like a bad ass mega man. It's so worth the rogue rule set to get better.

I'm just gonna continue playing Anthem until both Devil May Cry 5 & The Division 2 releases before I uninstall Anthem.

I've been out of Pokemon forever, but Let's Go got me back in the groove, and the reveal has me hyped.

Oh man, I also installed the DMC trilogy just for DMC5. Too much coming in these few months... As for Anthem, it's seriously gotta step-up the content. I'm level 20 now and just doing the quests so I can start crafting Legion of Dawn gear for the story. The fact they threw a grinding mission right into the story (unlocking the tombs,) was such a stupid design move that it almost got me to quit.

Yea pretty fun, it has that thing though were the levels start to feel samey that usually sets in with procedurally generated games. Kinda wish it was just a hand crafted campaign through and though. Bit of a dumb dumb and played for ages without really using the alt weapon, with Dracos melee.

Close minded freind had has mind blown, repeatedly "I don't like platformers they are boring", gets this with little context, ends up playing 5 hours straight.

He's your archetype snooty pc gamer, calling console games crap without ever touching the genres in the first place, god bless his soul.
