Out of the 3 console manufacturer I do think Xbox engage the most with fans which is a good thing on good days but it does lead to more toxicity when situation like this arise. Lots of diehard Lems having breakdowns which will never be not funny to me but in all honesty its a sad situation. Still not as bad as Nintendo fans attacking Palworld dev due some pokemon similarities. That one is just downright weird relationship.

There is no instance in life where every family has access to everything. I'm not sure gaming entertainment should be where we start either. Even if Mario Kart were available on android phones, not everyone would be able to play it because it would still cost money. And it seems odd to me that those with the means have these sticking points.

And again, investments in the gaming medium are based on returns. The "future" you're proposing steps all over that. Meaning fewer investments. Fewer games. Fewer risks. There's no Steam Deck, no Switch etc. We all lose...
