What are you looking forward to more: Final Fantasy 15 or Persona 5?

I'm going to check Persona 5 and I have close to zero interest in FF

Where is the neither option?

Final Fantasy all the way. Persona seems to have a cult following in this forum, and will probably win the poll... but FF is still the boss.

Neither, but gun to my head, maybe FFXV so I can understand how the FFVII remake might play.

Gonna get both and with enough time in between them to, at least, finish the story of the first one to release so I'm good.

At this point I'd rather not pick one as I have no need.

There is however a fairly decent chance of me enjoying P5 quite a bit more, since it seems FF15 (from the demos I played) doesn't quite get what it's doing with its combat system. Though it could have just been the very limited combat from the demos. I fully expect the combat in P5 to be very similar to P4, which is only a good thing.

More of a waifu man than a husbando myself, P5.

I'm more interested in FFXV right now, I'm still playing SMT IV which is taking me forever since I haven't played it in a few weeks lately.

Persona 5 by a mile.

Pretty sure the title is the extent of JRPG left in FF15.

Mark me down for P5, but it's still a long ways off.

Persona 5. Im getting the feeling , as i said months now , that FF15 wont be the game everyone is eager for , including myself. We will see

Final Fantasy XV, I believe, will leave me eager to explore the world and see the incredible journey that the game takes me through.

Persona 5, I believe, will have better characters and gameplay. Story should go to Persona 5 as well.

Both will have incredible music that I will listen to long after I've finished both games. No idea who will take the win, but I'd be inclined to say FFXV.

Ive been anticipating P5 for years. its part of my favorite series.

FF15 looks awful and the series has been dead to me since 13. Most of the older ones are classics though.

I do not like what I've seen of Final Fantasy and I enjoyed Persona 4 so I will go with Persona5. I might actually buy it.

I don't get that though. That Persona trailer didn't even look like a fucking game. Final Fantasy XV looks better in every way. Better soundtrack, world, gameplay, graphics etc.

As for everything else you said, it is more than evident you have not followed Persona 5 and are simply not aware of what it is.

I understand just fine that JRPGs are trash of the gaming world.

Not really looking forward to either one, I never played any of the Persona's so don't know what the game's story is really about and FF has lost a lot of appeal to me over the years.

Persona 5. Not the least of which is that I have more faith in that games gameplay, all Atlus has to do is get better at dungeons. Final Fantasy XV? Looks basura.

Yup. Might have some nods and winks to earlier games, but that's about it.

FFXV, only because I've been waiting 10 years for it. However, Persona 5 will probably turn out to be the better game.

Persona 4 was one of the worst jRPGs I have ever played. Persona 5 has a lot to prove, to get over my obvious bias against it, laid down by my serious dislike towards is predecessor. So far, what it has shown is good though, don't get me wrong. But man... Persona 4 was complete zZz.

I probably won't get either. I haven't played anything in either franchise, but Final Fantasy XV having AI controlled partners is an insta no-sale from me. If I picked one of these it would be Persona.

Dragon Quest XI is where it's at for me. Hopefully it continues the series' tradition of vast, open exploration in a massive world and fully controlled turn based battles. JRPGs have really fallen off the deep end because almost none offer these two things together.

I'm not that amped for it - not to mention that P5 won't come to PC anytime soon so it won't be on my radar - I'm just curious how it will turn out and what really makes this game so great and different from other JRPG's titles ... all in all P5 seems more solid than FFXV

Not going to take up your time like Destiny but Persona 5 may have some laughs. But yeah, Deus Ex is the next game I hope is going to be great.

You don't need to "hope" about DeusEx. The crew who's making the game understands the appeal of the series and cannot disappoint.
