I have the last DLC from Nioh that I want finish. I'm going straight for the main missions, not the side quests. Hopefully I can get through it. The DLC in that game is tough. If I can beat it, it will be an accomplishment. As for what's next, I want to finish Divinity Origin Sin. What about you, SW?

Wolfenstein 2 on the switch...can't wait.

This is what we do when we compromise on gaming for kids and work life hehe.

I currently have Hollow Knight, Wolfenstein II, Ikaruga, and Lumines Remastered on heavy rotation for the Switch, and Xcom 2 for PC later this weekend.

It's no secret I love the Far Cry games. So, it's Far Cry 5, of course.

Right now juggling Nier Automata, Mega Man Collection, will probably play some Sea of Thieves with a friend tonight and/or tomorrow. Same friend hasn't played Halo 5 yet and might want to co-op that as well.

Dark Souls III.
I finished Dark Souls Remastered with a knight type of build and decided to replay the third one with the same build.

It's a lot of fun revisiting some of these places.
I'm currently at Irithyll. So gorgeous...

I didn't care for the first two Uncharted's, but I'm liking this one. Maybe I should give those ones another chance. This one has its annoyances though, but it's good. And yeah, I'm pretty impressed by the graphics and everything. It really feels like Uncharted.

@AdobeArtist: Assassin's creed Origins is one insanely good looking game !

I also love the changes to the formula: there is a bigger focus on player interactivity and side missions feel great. I also love buying new outfits for bayek lol. If you're on uplay be sure to get the Aguilar outfit from uplay rewards :p

Decided to play Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age. Haven't played this game for nearly 10 years. First time I played I kinda rushed and barely understood the story line. So far I am addicted.

Playing through my backlog. I recently finished Quantum Break, The Dwarves, Tesla Effect and Bioshock Infinite. And minutes ago I was glad to be done with Alien Isolation. I hate that game so much now. At first the atmosphere was great and meeting the alien was tense and exciting the first dozen times. But it became pretty annoying super fast. I crouch walked 100% of the game and that damn thing still always knew where I was. Countless times I was sitting under a table for 10 minutes with the alien standing around doing nothing and refusing to leave. I will never touch that game again.

Next up might me Thimbleweed Park, Legend of Grimrock or The Sexy Brutale.

I'm currently playing God of War 3 remastered and it's fantastic. I decided to take another look at the God of War games which I could never get into and I'm glad now that I did. I still have my PS3 slim and picked up God of War 1 and 2, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta and Ascension cheap on a PSN store sale and I've liked them all.

The new God of War on PS4 Pro is a really appealing prospect now. I know it's different but now I'm caught up (almost) with all things GoW I can't wait to play the one that has had rave reviews almost everywhere.

I believe most people will agree that was a cool story.

Are you allowed to freely state what you think of it?

Sure man, there is no NDA so anyone can share what they want :)

Of course this being an alpha there is still a lot of stuff that needs work. Let's talk about that first:

Planes and Tanks (along with infantry) require ammo resupply nows, to stop people from using cheezy tactics or camping.

But I feel Planes and tanks have been nerfed a bit too much: Planes lack a general overview of the battlefield: so it's hard to find infantry. I've seen planes focus mostly on air to air combat. Tanks feel a bit weak atm, you step into a tiger and you do not feel well protected at all, with a single Assault being able to down your tank.

_____________

But those are small gripes at the moment in an otherwise wonderful game. Nothing that can't be fixed.

The graphics and audio design are of the best in the industry again. Especially the sounds are noticable improved from Battlefield 1: It's something I notice every time I launch into a Battlefield V game: just how good the sounds are.

Yesterday I was driving around in my churchill tank and literally all I was doing was listening to the sounds of my screeching tracks xD

Tanks are improved: they feel better, look better, sound better, they can drive through buildings, they can tow guns (still have no clue how that works)

Same can be said about infantry too: Shooting has been much improved from Battlefield 1 and the increased movement set gives you a lot more options. Like sprinting while crouched, or landing on your back and start firing. Haven't had a chance to throw back grenades yet, maybe I'm still using my Battlefield 1 tactics of running away :P

I like the increase on squad play and you really do NEED teamplay this time around. You need to play more tactical than you did in BF 1, and the limited health and ammo is a big contributor to that. Dying and being revived with an animation is a small thing too, but it changes a lot.

It took me around an hour to adjust from my Battlefield 1 tactics and start playing this game a bit differently. After that I've been having nothing but fun !

Oh and I almost forgot to mention Conquest: It's so good now ! I liked Behemoths in BF1, but conquest in BF V is just much better this time around: It's tense up until the end and the way the new systems come into play make this feel like one of the best conquest modes in the series.

@R4gn4r0k: That sound good. Positive overall.

Do you think the air-to-ground combat is something that can be helped by introducing a mechanic like flares that spot infantry for aircraft? I do know that there are flares in the game but I don't know that they work that way, or are underutilized?

Also, what do you think of this idea: Allowing soldiers to grab ammo from the back of a Support class soldier? Or did you feel like the ammo system was fine the way it was?

I hope that they do make tanks sturdy enough to survive one Assault soldier in the average encounter. I kind of liked the way it worked in BF1 and I wouldn't mind if they were actually a little sturdier. Then they become an actual threat on the battlefield. I want that 'oh shit a tank' moment.

Does EA ask for feedback/suggestions at all?

@KungfuKitten: Yeah this closed alpha is mainly to provide gameplay and performance feedback. I'm sure DICE is listening in. It's also the first time people get to try the new conquest system :)

Tanks and planes do have accesoires at the moment, but you don't really know what they are, there is no info on them prolly because it's alpha. I don't think planes have spotting flares. But it's mainly because there is fewer spotting mechanics than in BF1 which gives planes a harder time.

Tanks did indeed feel right in BF1. In BFV their HP feels lower in a single man to man fight. Planes had some balance issues in BF1, they sometimes felt very OP, this'll be fixed by the new system of giving fewer ammo.

But yeah overall I'm very positive about the game. BF1 was great, but more casual. BF V requires more of your focus.

Ok so ammo for soldiers goes like this: You start with two clips, you can get 9 bullets from fallen enemies, you can get ammo from support players and there are ammo and health crates dotted around the map. Again this requires some player focus, which is great. The abundance of ammo in BF1 meant players played way less tactical and zerg rushed objectives :P

Ok. Well, if they don't do anything too anti-consumerist I will buy the game. It sounds like an overall good update to BF1. Maybe slightly less relaxing but still.
