@NathanDrakeSwag: The rent free thing is their way of trying to manipulate you into self monitoring what you post so they don't have to hear the negative aspects of the company they prefer. What it actually does is reveal their insecurities about the platform.

On topic, I think MS has a lot of potential for this E3. I think they had a pretty good start with their pre-show yesterday but as Sheep99 stated above... time will tell.

Different this year with Bethesda though, normally it's own event but MS will be showing off the fruits of it's acquisition. Just don't think we'll be playing anything from Bethesda this year. Mostly likely see StarField gameplay.

If it's anything like this, I'm leaning towards no.

Oh I'm aware lol. They can't handle any criticism about their favorite gaming company so they try to derail threads into fanboy wars hoping they'll get locked. There is truth behind every criticism people have about Microsoft and that's why they always go into defense mode. You never see this much insecurity from PC, Sony or even Nintendo fans.

Guess we'll finally find out if Elder Scrolls and StarField etc are going to exclusive to MS from now on.

To answer the question of the original post (not that the OP really wants discussion)

Xbox will have a successful E3 IF and that is a big IF they announce some release date in the near future and show a timeline for other works in development

Anyway I have believed in MS before when it comes to delivering to E3, and tbh they haven’t really delivered the last couple of years, so maybe?

Xbox has all the hype and momentum at this point. I fully expect them to “win” E3 this year.

I thought that Microsoft has had some very good E3 shows for the most part in the last several years myself. I think that this one will be great. They have quite a bit stuff in the pipeline that I’m really looking forward to and they have a lot of great IP’s that they could still work with.

E3 is all hype and no substance. Gamers may or may not be excited after the showing but you are more or less coming out the same as you went in. My only expectation is a release date for Halo Infinite. What I think they should be disclosing is the release dates for at least 3 additional games outside of Halo Infinite and show ONLY gameplay and at the worst in game cinematics.

I agree. If they've said they're committed to putting out at least 1 game a quarter they need to be giving dates for which games they are and show gameplay for them.

I do think there will be some Game Pass drops as part of the show.
