Your worst 3 non refundable (digital) purchases.

As we all know, you can't sell digital, so it kinda stings if you regret your purchase and you can't sell them, or if you can't get a refund. If you were already past the refund date (or playtime like on steam) and/or you got your refund denied, then of course that counts too. Pc discs that you can't sell or refund count too.

So pretty much your worst 3 games that you couldn't sell or get a refund.

A litte bit of explanation is always nice too.

Here's mine

1. The division: very good in the beginning but sucks after half a week, I thought this was going to be a grindfest, well not really since you only have 2 types of enemies.

2. No man's sky: I was a believer till the very end, and that end was way past the 2 hour playtime mark to get a refund on steam. It's like trying to run crysis on a pentium III... without the amazing graphics. Still I might go back, and that's why it's not on the top spot.

3. Dark souls II: was a pc disc and linked to my steam account, I actually waited a month for the 'better graphics', I shouldn't have waited, so I could have sold my xbox copy.

I honestly can't think of any. I rarely get things day 1 and do ample research before buying anything.

Racoon City isn't outright terrible because if the gameplay (which is still deeply flawed) but rather the abysmal port quality.

ignoring the huge performance requirements, for a bad looking game that drop to 30fps, Capcom didn't bother to remove GFWL while continuing to sell it for £29.99.

Without extreme workarounds, the game does not work by default. Valve should also be blamed, since they have 0 quality control.

I'd have to go with F-Zero X on my Wii...after being spoiled by GX, it really was difficult to enjoy. My other two...well, I've enjoyed everything else I downloaded, so I guess the first Crash Bandicoot and Kirby's Adventure would be the other ones.

Watch Dogs was the first and only digital game I purchased at full price and regretted. Since then I hardly pay for digital games at full price. I usually wait for them to go on sale and I use rewards programs to gather digital currency to get digital games free and heavily discounted plus we game share.

Considering nobody plays the dlc, I wasted money on a dlc.

Bf3 with premium, I regretted never getting that with their stupid prem. only servers. I loved CQ dlc, bf3's gunplay is underrated everything felt great especially in a small setting. No vehicles just run and gun.

I wouldn't call the worse game ever, but def. wasted money since I never revisited the game. I stacked the thing with refund credit and bestbuy gcu came out to $20 that day.

Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed - After 20 minutes in it just gets very boring to continue playing. The game in itself inst too bad, but its nothing to write home about either. Damn it, and now I'm stuck with this.

Battlfefield 3 + Premium - Wow, what a fucking grind-fest in the multiplayer aspect. And who's brilliant idea was to put some of the weapon unlocks on a game mode that zero users ever play to begin with?

Take note of what you digitally purchase. Because if its absolute crap... you're stuck with it forever. The steam refund is an absolute joke to begin with. A lot of games, you will need at least 2+ hours just to get into them properly.

Division, Watch Dogs this gen, managed to dodge rest of the baddies

Honestly, I can only think of two. The last of Us Remastered, because it was only a year old and not a major upgrade. I already owned/played the DLC on PS3 so that scored no points with me, the MP while fun for minute had no hook to keep me going back to it. I would've loved $50 in PS store credit for it.

The other is Recore. It isn't a bad game at all. Platforming is better than any 3D game this gen, very challenging and fun. Combat has moments. But as a whole it just isn't interesting and for that reason I wish I could have my $40 back.

I rarely buy Digital games but once in a while i get bored enough to head over the PS STORE and look at the games that are on sale and give one a shot.

Got a digital card with my Xbox One. I had tried the demo at an event a few months back and couldn't stand it, but i decided to redeem the download anyway instead of selling it for £20.

I regretted it within 15 minutes. Awful game

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace for vita. - Such a garbage game. And they totally ripped off Monster Hunter in the worst, most unsuccessful way.

Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate for vita. Quite possibly the worst Batman game I have ever played. It was a boring and convoluted 2D side scroller with a confusing as **** map.

Too many to list. i tend to buy a lot of games and amongst them are some I play less than an hour because they suck so much

1. - Gothic 2: That series had so much potential but the devs (forget their name) can't execute ideas for shit.

2 & 3 - Amnesia and Outlast: B/c they are both scary and creepy as hell and I have never been able to play more than 10 minutes total for each since I bought them years ago.

Not the games' fault...I'm a huge wimp, but was a total waste of money.

Refunct is the only game I've bought that I thought was a straight up fraud. It was pretty cheap and I guess I could have technically refunded it though. But still...

Thief for Xbox one. Or that shitty game with the goblin, I think it was Styx?

I dunno, i appreciate I'm possibly in the minority with that opinion, and I'm glad it gave Xbox players an Insomniac game too since i love the company.

All the other digital games I have are games I have enjoyed or are enjoying right now.

Buying Third Strike Online Edition only to realize that Fightcade has a bigger and better community, has the best netcode that a fighting game can have, and is absolutely free.

Not a big regret though, the game was cheap and having access to a training mode is nice.

Shallow? This cracks me up. Try staying in motion, avoiding enemy attacks and aiming and pulling off your shots. If you stop or land for an amount of time you're dead. It's pure white knuckle chaos. The last thing it is, is shallow.

Yeah, TW3 blows. I kinda figured it would, so instead of buying it for myself I gifted it to a friend on Steam whom I share accounts with. He was interested in it and I figured if I didn't like it then he might... what does he do? Buys another copy and gifts it to me lol.

All those games I got on the Deals w/ Gold sale, only to see in a week or few they're free on Games w/ Gold.

I have one. Fallout 4. Purchased at launch. It will be the last game I buy at full price. As average prices for games go up the quality of them is going down. I can honestly say I have no bought a single full priced game in the past 5 years that was worth the price. It's close to 5 years, but the last game worth the price at launch was Skyrim.

Next purchase for me will be civ 6. Waiting for the first sale which I hope is around xmas. It's getting great reviews but that doesn't change the fact that these games are not worth the price they ask you to pay at launch.

The only one I can think of off hand is Destiny the Collection. I have it because a friend wanted to play it together and since I got it we have played maybe twice together on it. Destiny in the past was a boring game and it sure as hell didn't change. A real shame because the gameplay is solid and there are some interesting ideas in the game but the game is so bleh.

No Man's Sky is my worst. Otherwise, I am happy with all of my digital purchases I made on Playstation, Xbox and Steam.
