I'm just guessing I was around there though, I may have been higher than that. I know that I was below 20 though...
By the way for those interested, here is the union guide. It shows all unions and you can find unions based on highest level and such to see what the highest levels are. We're the highest leveled union in gamespot... Link

When I noticed that the levels were had spiked and it seemed the glitch no longer existed. I was really excited. It was one of the last glitches I was expecting to be fixed, but heck, it's still pretty darn awesome. I suppose the big question is if they will continue updating, or if it will again stall out. I'm optimistic though.
I checked out some of the boards' post counts in relation to their levels, and it seems like the union levels are still heavily, if not solely based on the board's post counts. Also, the boosts from being union of the week, and even the one activity to post a union article had a profound impact on the union's level (a union of mine which got the boost is nearly as high in level as a union with twice the number of posts). So, I now lead two inactive unions halfway through level 4, and one union on the cusp of making it to level 6.

My views are the same, however at the moment it gives us a great advantage in the sense that since we're now the highest leveled union, we'll be the first union shown in the union list. While it may not be much, it does help get the name out a bit more than before.

I just remembered something though... did this union win anything in the most recent union awards? If it did then that could've helped popularity as well.

I don't think anything like that happened in 2011 though... For like the past several months there was speak of it from some of the admins. I'm kind of clueless though on what has happened since then, the original plan was that there would be a committee from various unions and a different union would host the union awards each year. Things were semi-planned and people in the committee would have at least known what was going on or planned. Then Gamespot said they would do it themselves and there was never another word about it again...

If nothing happens by the end of the year or sometime, then who knows, I may decide to take matters again. That's how you get things done in gamespot most of the time.
