I have noticed alot of people have had their 360's break, now for me this is worrying as i am about to buy a 360 this week. I have had a NES since launch and it STILL works so i dont understand how a 360 cant last more than a few months.

there is some problems with some yes thats true... but u have to put it down to this... they dont make things like they used to

I think you will find that there are many more working 360s than broken ones. And to answer your point about the NES - The NES never had to evacuate large amounts of heat from inside its casing. Unfortunately, modern CPUs get extremely hot and over-heating has become a problem, hence the reason why modern consoles and PCs have at least one fan.
