As you probably know, Microsoft Kinect V2 was an excellent tool for motion tracking and 3D scanning. When MS decided to discontinue its production, I was disappointed with it and started working with a range of Intel 3D sensors.
I recently discovered that Microsoft had launched Azure Kinect a year ago and I was wondering if anyone had tried it before? I mean, is it supported by all those motion tracking and 3d scanning software like the old Kinect? The first thing I'm interested in is compatibility and support by Reallusion software, Fastmocap and Artec Studio for 3d scanning. I'm looking for advice from experienced people before I spend any money to buy it.
