I have a Acer TravelMate P238 running on Windows 10. I have tried to connect my XBOX 360 to my laptop to display it on that. I have tried via HDMI, I have tried the project feature on windows 10. I don't know how to change to HDMI input (HDMI port on my laptop is input). I have searched on YouTube as well and couldn't find anything on there that was useful to me. It was just how to project a laptop screen to secondary monitor.

Anyone have an answer?

It's quite simple, the HDMI on your laptop is an Output, not an Input. You can only use the HDMI on your laptop to display your desktop on another monitor or TV, it can't be used the other way round.

What your asking, can't be done.
