33 years. NES and 2600 were my first consoles. Over the last 16 years, I have slowly lost interest in new games. I think games now are by and large, terrible, and focus way too much on graphics. Nowadays I only play retro games, and new games made for retro consoles.

Damn, that's a sweet port! Always amazing to see what the ol' 7800 could have done with more support.
Yup, it's a very capable console. The 7800 had very flexible hardware, for instance, you could create backgrounds using either tilemaps to save on RAM, sacrificing sprites, and performance. Or use bitmaps, using more RAM, and freeing up sprites to use in the foreground, and gaining extra performance. Just some of the things I've learned about the 7800.
@chronogos: I personally think the original Xbox had the most awkward controller, the s controller was better, but not as good as the PS2 and GC. I still love the first Xbox tho, I have collected dozens of games for it. All consoles of that generation had there pros and cons.
@warmblur: I really hate how game sizes are really getting out of control. 100+ GB games is pretty stupid, and devs don't seem willing to compress them into more manageable sizes. I prefer physical media, but kinda understand why it's dying. I can still buy old games on physical media at least.
