They should have just shadow dropped it and then close the studio shortly after. That is the no fucks given strategy that they seem to be using these days.

I bought the PS5 version already as it was a solid 1440p/60fps and I didn't want to wait for the PC version. I will probably pick up the PC version down the road for cheap when I want to replay the game.

You have to, you need to play it in 4k 120FPS.

Nah, it was already pretty good quality on PS5 and I was generally satisfied with the experience. It was a cross-gen game that did not really push anything technically. That is why I did not wait for the PC version. If it was a current gen game that struggled technically, I would have just waited for the PC version. It will be nice to play it on the ultrawide in the future though.

but don't you want to run your benchmarks and share your results with fellow Herms?

Nope. As long as a game is running to my liking and standards, that is all that matters.

Banishers Ghost of New eden was a 10/10

And then the last game I beat was Dusk HD, which was also a 10/10

So, you would consider both games to be some of the greatest games of all time? I always find it funny when people give games a 10/10. There is a 10 point scale and people don't use it properly.

If I consider a game replayable I consider it very high on my scale yeah.

Both games are near flawless, and since flawless is a myth I consider near flawless a 10/10

What's the issue exactly? Me rating games highly that I enjoy?

Oh snap!

Imagine people rating games in a thread where you asked people to rate games.

The issue is people don't use the scale fully and tend to over rate things. You can enjoy a game a lot and rate it highly by giving it a 7 or 8. When you are looking at rating a game a 9, the game has to be amazing. To give a game a 10.... it means it is truly exceptional and remarkable and is able to stand next to the greatest games ever. So, are either of those games truly worthy of a 10?

Interesting timing for this topic as my PS Plus Essential just expired yesterday. I don't want to pay the new price and I have not seen any cheap keys online like there used to be before the price hike. I guess I will just have to wait it out for a discount at some point. They can go fuk themselves with the scam pricing.

If Rocksteady is not allowed to go back to what they are good at and their future would be live service trash, then might as well close them down as they are already dead to me. It's sad to see how the mighty have fallen.
