I find it funny no one gives CIG the benefit of the doubt they had to build almost everything from the ground up even Cry Engine needed a lot of tuning. While other games have things swept under the rug despite being in development much longer.

Glad to see the facial animation and models are coming together. Would love to see something by the end of this year during the stream. Last year we say them show off some incredible ship destructibility now we see procedural planets with almost every previous mechanics we seen working side by side, definitely most impressive year so far.

Also MEA looks like it also has sync kills like ME3 does, where enemies can kill you instantly.

They barely showed the entire fight with the mechs. They just showed a scene when it was just low on health where they just blasted it up close. Barely any teamwork shown just the character moving around place to place blasting people. Seem like the AI aren't good at aiming or put up a challenge either unless they had some pretty op weapon. First, the player is using Biotic Charge, which in past games would recharge her shields on hits, so she would take cover lass. Plenty of kits in multiplayer in ME3 relied less on cover and more about getting to the enemy (and Volus could not take cover). Second, the tech combo, clearly shown on screen, was a clear result of her combining tech powers with the squad. If you actually have play ME3, and high level multiplayer, tech bursts and biotic bursts do a lot of damage.

They do not want to pop and shoot in MEA like you can in past games.

One part doesn't negate the fact there was little squad coordination used through the fights. Saying they don't want make it more cover and shoot is not really a good excuse when there were classes in the pass games that did not use biotics powers or rely on heavily. Biotic classes were pretty damn op in the last game so I'm not even surprise its even more so here than before.

Bad animation for a AAA game coming out in a few months.

Combat looks more easier than before doesn't look to challenge assuming this is normal difficulties. Maybe because the Weapon there using is pretty powerful.
