I was thrilled to get L4D2 for 25% off. It was just the motivation I needed after missing out on the first game :P

Gran Turismo is NOT realistic. The game that I feel has it down best is GRID. That feels pretty similar to real driving.hartsickdiscipl
I nearly did a spit-take when I read that sentence. GRID is so unrealistic that playing it with a wheel and pedals setup is nearly impossible.

Go to their website (evenbalance.com) and download a program called "pbsetup." It will install/update the necessary punkbuster files to keep you from getting forcibly removed from pb-enabled servers.

Ask about the power supply (PSU). If it's at least 550w you should definitely pick this computer up and then throw in a video card.

It doesn't even seem to be acknowledged on EA's Need for Speed official website. I hope it doesn't become vaporware.

PAL and NTSC are television standards that do not apply to computers. You should be able to install and play the game without issue.

Fallout 3, Prototype, Far Cry 2, and Assassin's Creed all became far too boring to continue playing, so I never finished these. I also never finished Drakensang, as it became too tough... I'm not much of an RPG player. I may pick that one back up, though. Those are the most recent ones that I can think of at the moment.

Dell > HP in terms of software and support. HP has too much bloatware and crapware installed that it slows down your pc exponentially. If you do go with HP, do clean install of vista and make sure you get 4gb with a 64-bit operating system. RAM is so cheap these days you can afford to buy more.

The emphasis here should really be on getting the 64-bit version of windows. The 32-bit version is not better for ANYTHING, as the amount of RAM you can add to the system is effectively capped at four (including the memory on your graphics card).

If you have an AM2+ socket motherboard, you should look into the Athlon II X2 250. If you don't, then you should look into a new motherboard first :P

I think a lot of people aren't understanding what I'm trying to say. I'm just saying that it's ridiculous how you can do so well in a game, and then at the last minute get kicked from it without getting any xp because of a tactic that's in the game that you've been using for a long time.

I would bet that you were warned several times and just did not pay attention to the chat.
