Hey all,

I have been trying to decide if Helldivers is a good purchase right now, and I wanted to ask: does it have a solid online community? I will be playing primarily on Vita most likely, but I understand that all the systems are linked for online play.

So what do you guys think? Is the community active enough to warrant a buy? I heard the game isn't worth it as a single player experience.

I agree, I find the game absolutely amazing. About 30 hours into my first character and can barely put it down!

Been trying all day to get Destiny to work, then switched to CoD, and now my basic network is just crapping out. Using all of my other internet devices fine (tablet, pc, phone, and even accessing netflix from my PS3 fine. Tried disconnected all of those things just to be sure it wasn't a network stress problem.

This is seriously frustrating, first day of the weekend I've been able to game and having network problems.

I see RDR: UN on sale for $7.19. Is this JUST the Undead Nightmare DLC, or is this a collection that includes both the base game, and the DLC. IF it's just the DLC, not worth it, if it's both games, I can't think of a good reason not to get that amazing deal. That's a good 20 hours of gameplay easy!

If you are wondering on whether or not you should buy it, I assume you are a fan of horror games. So you are okay with being scared, and that's good, the game is pretty scary. However, it comes down to this:

Are you okay with some cheap, unavoidable deaths with poorly placed checkpoints?

A) Answered yes - great, go pick it up

B) Answered no - your controller will probably end up embedded in your TV screen

Hi all,

So I'm going to be playing DA:I on PS3. Sadly, won't be able to pick up my PS4 before it launches, and I am NOT willing to wait.

Does anyone have a link to screenshots of videos of it playing on a last-gen system, either PS3 or Xbox 360? I'd love to get a sneak peak at what it will look like when I get to it.

I've seen some of the preview videos, but I have a feeling those were made on PS4/XBone

@mastermetal777 said:

@Essian: It does have matchmaking for Strikes and PvP, and you could make the argument that all of the characters you find across various maps are a part of the matchmaking process. It's the weekly nightfall strikes and the raids that don't have matchmaking, as they've said they want you to work with people you know well in order to take those down.

Well that sort of kills it for a guy like me who doesn't have anyone to play with

I've been on the fence about buying Destiny for the last few days. On the one hand, I like really polished shooters. On the other, I don't like empty worlds with underdeveloped RPG elements that just devolve to grinding.

But does Destiny really not have any coop matchmaking systems? No raid, heroic strike mission etc. leaderboards? How does that even make sense?! What is this, vanilla WoW in 2004?!

If I can't even easily co-op without having to find a forum for a group, an MMOFPS this is certainly not.
