I mean, just look at that Felicia Day blog post she made about how scared she was of gamers now she had to cross the street when she saw a couple of guys with GeoW shirts. Then on the comment section someone doxxed her within minutes of the blog being published... She then claimed it was gamergate but how? It could of been anybody! She even wrote a freaking book about it... She wrote a book! XD
This whole thing has always been so shady, so ridiculous, so hyperbolic that to this day I still find it hard to believe. But what's crazy it's how sites like Gamespot and IGN ignore all kind of evidence for the sake of the clique. So much denial is inhuman.
Uncharted is not really a game for dudebros. The violence here is light, is not very realistic and no muscular bald space marines either. In fact, Uncharted 3 is the game I have encountered the most women playing online.
@JOLIVERW: that's the only reason I might even buy a PS4 next month, the beta. Because I cannot wait to go back to play the only online multiplayer shooter that I have ever been able to truly enjoyed.
@cyclicalbeats: exactly, at last someone that gets it! And not to mention that UC3 had so many options in the multiplayer like I've never seen anywhere else before. So many variations, so many modes, so many events, cover, platforming, crazy kickbacks and even a classic mode and so much fun!
I played Uncharted 3's online for years, both the competitive and the co-op which was insane when playing with friends at the highest difficulty, a true test of teamwork.
For the record, SXWS said they received threats and that's why they cancelled BOTH panels, the SavePoint/Gamergate panel and Randi Harpers' panel about harassment but everyone seems to be forgetting these little details for the sake of pointing fingers at the people SJW's don't like. Very dishonest if you aske me. And from Gamespot this is not the first time you guys write something disingenuous either....
Gamespot took Wu's word for granted when the threat wasn't even directed at her but at Gamergate and not to mention it was from a year ago too. So zero fact checking from journalists for the sake a pushing the false narrative. Gotta protect that clique even at the cost of lying to their readership, right?
well what do you expect when you look around and find stuff like this? It gives free rein to all kinds of conspiracy theories when you read reviews you don't like.
I haven't bought an Ubi game since Rainbow Six Vegas on PS3, so I win. But if they ever release a sequel for Beyond Good & Evil then I'm gonna have to make an exception for that one.
