@Sifer2 on the upside, Arma 3 used similar words, and is pulling it off in my opinion!

..But in that case it could be the want for an amount of polish / smoothness over Arma 2.

I think they've been talking about the teamplay, with commanders and other voice talk in-game, and then being able to team up with squads and bigger groups of allies in order to organize what you're doing.

It sounded they are planning ways to get into clan-like groups, with it still being pretty casual (like not having to commit to an actual clan).

Maybe further along in the beta those things will be more implemented (unless they're already happening; I haven't been on the PlanetSide 2 forums and don't have a beta key yet)

@sirkibble2 I'm not sure exaclty how it launches. Not sure if it launched from a regular link on the desktop or though something like Battlelog.

But I guess it's not played inside the internet browser and is a separate program anyway.

@sirkibble2 it's a free to play MMO, yup!Apparently they're trying pretty hard to keep it from being Pay-to-Win. Stuff like keeping items as available even though someone can pay to get kind of an 'experience boost'.I hope they keep the unlockable items as different, not better, than the originals, in order for it to work..

Looks a lot better than the gameplay they showed at E3 last year. I'll keep an eye on it. @tgchan Not sure if they said where they were in the first video, but it was probably a car radio!
