If you played the demo, then you would know that the game is very Silent Hill like in atmosphere. I also call bs on no cheap scares in the older Silent Hill games.

You are saying that Final Fantasy is the most innovative game of all time with a statement like that. You are very wrong if you actually believe that. Final Fantasy is far less important then games like Half Life or Mario.I don't think you need to play a Final Fantasy game to actually be a critic in the video game industry, and I'm sure a lot haven't.

How is Final Fantasy in any way comparable to the influence of Citizen Kane? The ideas and design of Citizen Kane are still used in the majority of modern films. Final Fantasy and modern video games? Not so much...

I've seen far worse. Our industry can have odd and straight designs. I think that's what makes video games special. I think he should be worried about getting in trouble. People get fired over twitter all the time for these kinds of comments.

They probably earned it with the whole Sim City crap they put consumers through.
