I started gaming in the 90's. At the time i wasn't too much into games... i would rather play outside than games at home. It wasn't until the PS1 that i truly started to enjoy games. Going from Super Mario to Metal Gear Solid was a big change... a much better change. During this time i was also a PC gamer on my first PC (Pentium II CPU). Age of Empires 2 was my first taste of online gaming... i was very addicted.
Gaming continued to grow on me during the PS2 era. I bought my PS2 day one USA launch. Games like Metal Gear Solid 2 and Grand Theft Auto III were amazing early on the PS2's life. 2002 i also got back into PC gaming with a brand new custom PC (Athlon XP CPU with GeForce 4 Ti 4600, later GeForce 6800 GT in 2004). I played all the newest FPS games at the time, but my true love was Americas Army SF. I played AA:SF pretty much until the next gen.
With the arrival of Xbox 360 and soon after PS3, I gave up on PC gaming. 360 was ok at first with exclusives the first 2 years. PS3 in the other hand had a bad start and later became by far the better console. From the Uncharted series to Dead Space series, my gaming was on PS3. On PS3 i played my favorite multiplayer game ever, Killzone 2. I could never imagine getting into an online FPS on a console until i played KZ2.
Finally the PS4 era arrived. I bought my PS4 at launch to play Killzone Shadow Fall. After a terrible launch, KZSF managed to grow on me after many patches, becoming my favorite mp game on PS4. On PS4 i also played my best football game, PES 2015, which was not great, but really surprising considering PES games. Even though gaming went downhill this era, PS4 turned out to be a great console because of so many remasters and remakes. While Xbox One was only good for the backwards compatibility.
