@DigitalDame Hey Synthia thanks for looking into the issue and hopefully it gets resolved. I know you're working very hard at making the forums a better place after the new design and structuring of GameSpot, but I think I'm just going to take a long break from the site. Sorry.

@DigitalDame They've been happening to me every time I load a new page. Sometimes multiple ads play at once. It only happens when I visit these forums and there doesn't appear to be a tile or designated area where I can see an ad playing, so I'm unable to screenshot it. @edgework I'm in the US.

I get like 3 to 4 audio ads playing at the same time creating a cacophony of voices talking about products that I'm not going to buy. This happens extremely frequently.

The trailer actually made me excited. It looks so much more vibrant than the trailers of Fallout 3. It makes me want to go out and try a Fallout game; I know my girlfriend will be extremely excited about this as she loves the series, spending a couple days glued to the laptop screen playing Fallout 2.

Awesome. I just built a computer, and I'm ready for some more GPU intensive games.

Xbox didn't have anything even in the ballpark of being as good as Metroid Prime.

@Minishdriveby said:

Based on that criteria the Gamecube wins easily.

GameCube. Xbox was a watered down Pentium III PC and its only worthwhile exclusive was Halo 2.

What notable Xbox exclusives even were there?

Gamecube had some generation-defining games. Xbox had a shooter that played better on PC.

I initially enjoyed the Xbox more, but over time, I enjoyed the GameCube more. The GC library has generally aged a lot better than the Xbox library.

The Xbox had the brillance of Jet Set Radio Future, Panzer Dragoon Orta and Gunvalkyrie, which easily stand toe to toe with the best exclusives the Gamecube had to offer. Don't piss on them until you've played them. There's Otogi: Myth of Demons and its sequel, Otogi: Immortal Warriors, which are two fantastic action - hack 'n slash games that are best described as a hybrid between Devil May Cry and Okami.

Then you've got Ninja Gaiden Black, Dead or Alive Ultimate, Metal Wolf Chaos, motherfucking Outrun 2, Rallisport Challenge 2 and Project Gotham Racing 2. These are all exclusives to this day, i didn't even mention all the great games the Xbox had and the Gamecube missed.

The Gamecube is roughly equal to the Xbox as far great games go.

I have played them....

No, Spider-Man 3 discussion can be brought up without this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9izUh07U5BA

(I actually like Kirsten though)
