My goodness, how much gaming goodness can we take?
lol :P
LOL Lems aren't getting this for free. Most casuals buy COD, Fifa, Madden then call it a day. If COD doesn't move the needle for Gamepass subscribers, expect Xbox to leave the hardware market. Pretend sales don't matter until you see proof that it does. Series consoles are getting slaughtered when it comes to marketshare.
I can see MS pushing for another price increase with Game Pass now adding Activision & Blizzard games which is fair I guess if it comes to that. Even on Game Pass PC, that's a lot of games your gonna get and adding Call of Duty games will be a bonus for sure as you can play the campaign and assuming you don't care for MP, your paying less/renting just for the campaign if that's the case.
All I really want from Activision is to reinstate all the Transformers games and put them on Game Pass.
Almost 300 dollars a year to rent games? One would need a lot of time on their hands to make that worthwhile. I think people will regret embracing this business model if it becomes standard in the future.
I know this generation has been wacky with COVID and all that, but this is just ridiculous. Maybe im not giving enough credit to all the factors, but how can this be justified? Let's look at the past PlayStations.Console Prices
PS1 launch - $299, 3 years later - $129
PS2 launch - $299, 3 years later - $179
PS3 launch - $499 20GB /$599 60GB, 3 years later - $299 120GB(slim) & 80GB/ $399 160GB
PS4 launch - $399, 3 years later - $299
PS5 launch - $399 (digital) $499 (disc), 3 years later - $449 (digital) $499 (disc)
I didn't want a PS5 at launch, and I sure as f#ck don't want one now. So the question is, who wants this? What are you playing? Can it be argued that anyone buying this isn't an idiot? Is this just par for the course in this modern world of goof? Can we please stop making the worst decisions possible?!
Blame the economy. Can't expect companies to want to pass along savings to consumers when everything is so expensive. Companies have to make money. Most people will buy the disc version as that's the current sales breakdown. Any idiot that buys the digital over saving 50 dollars deserves to be nickel and dimed anyway.
@nintendoboy16: wait a year for a game to be 30 dollars cheaper rather than play it when everyone else is? Way to say you're broke without saying you're broke.
@sealionact: BOTW has mostly the same map and fanboys ate it up. Why are Lems so worried about what's going on with the Sony camp anyway?
Sorry, phones are only meant for quick play while waiting in lobbies or down time at work. Will never use for serious gaming.
I don't understand the complaint. Is it because it's not 4K? Not like anyone would notice the differences on 20+ year old games. Gamers have become such whiners, don't want it don't buy it. What was everyone expecting?
