Why would they release a handheld that could only run PS4 games though? There are plenty of handheld options these days that can run just about anything... that wouldn't make much sense at all.

That's the problem with gaming around the world these days. Companies can't figure out ways to keep increasing revenue barriers and shattering sales records while also cutting costs, closing studios, shoveling out 1,000 remasters, firing the best devs, inserting woke ideology, quality down and dev times up... the answer is? Simple, go back to the roots, rethink things, give people what they want. Subs will go up if the sub is worth the asking price, but the problem is games cost too much to produce these days so the quality of games on the services suffer.

Make more AA games, $20-$50 games, games with 10-40 hours of content, better multiplayer with no rigged sbmm, actual incentives to play, decent rewards, unlocks, etc. a d subs will go through thr roof. Gaming will also get better when the world economy stabilizes. More money equates to more sales.

Good... most Square Enix games suck balls these days anyways (not all). Use that money to bring over PC titles to give them a chance on consoles until the console pc merger is complete.

@warm_gun: I guess underrated is the wrong choice of words, and under appreciated would fit better, but games like those don't exist these days and are sorely missing from a well rounded lineup. The market still exists and if anything is larger than ever, especially if there is a fully fleshed out mp mode.

If anything the franchise is underrated. We need more games like Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter.

Steam machines, steam deck, rog ally, mini PCs, are all pretty much the same thing. Price points obviously vary and a 1k mini PC will give you better bang for your buck over a 1k handheld hybrid, but both are nice. Steam machines are just mini PCs and you can get them from a thousand different places online.

I'll either wait for Ally 2 or get a mini PC.

I still don't see the point of hiring a model if you aren't even going to use their likeness... and yes, I realize all the other woke talk bs and all that, but I'm hoping it turns out well. There are a lot of red flags, but I don't turn away from any game until I know for sure what to expect.

All 3 are completely out of touch... they need to start hiring talent and stop trying to diversify for the sake of image. He always reminded me of a dude trying to act hip and in touch when that is obviously far from the truth... at least he isn't as cringe as Cerny's creepy ass.. lol.
