This tv isn't full hd but hd ready. Which resolution will I be able to play with? (720p,1080i,1080p(upscaling)). Resistance Fall of man only supports up to 720p will I get a good image just like the images of the first page of this topic?

Or should I buy a the dell 2407wfs? This is a pc monitor thats supports up to 1080p. It is only 300 euro more than the sharp lcd tv.

The TV will probably play 720p and 1080i. You will have to check the specs to know for sure. Dont worry about getting 1080p unless you are getting a 60 inch tv. Experts cannot tell the difference between 1080i and 1080p until the tv's start getting around that size.

I mean

for starters the ONLY way to get 1080i is on a CRT or a 1080p tv 

its proven that ps3 looks better on a huge 1080p tv then a 360 does. even on multiplats. thats where the true test is. not some worthless monitor or small tv

What are you talking about???

Not only can you play your games in HD (excluding Wii owners, you get what you pay for), but you can watch.......say it ain't so.....HD broadcasts on it too.

I know watching TV on you HDTV might sound criminal, but take it from me, I heard from my buddies grandma, that read it on some magazine, that you can also watch HD broadcasts from cable/sat on your HD monitor.:o

not to mention you can watch HD movies

I don't watch anything on TV that's not HD

I put all my DVDs in a corner to make room for my BD/HDDVD library
