Why no PC? It's been nearly 15 years since I last played a Madden Game on the PC. Come one EA.

@mitchav66: Fury X has higher Teraflops than this so it doesn't have more TFLOPS than AMD's top dawg.

@bekyuubi: Different manufacturers charge different price. There wasn't a so called "Founders Edition" 980 that they charged an extra $100. There wasn't a Founders Edition GTX 280 for an extra $100. These were all reference cards at launch the difference being they didn't cost an extra $100 more.

@jimmythang: You did not read correctly what I stated. They are charging an extra $100 for a REFERENCE model which the didn't do in PREVIOUS generation of GPU launches. You didn't criticize $700 whole in your wallet that GTX 1080 REFERENCE model would leave you while you criticize the $200 price of the RX 480 as the price doesn't "blow" you away. So which price would the RX 480 would need to launch to "blow" you away? You keep on ignoring that question. And no duh that there are faster cards out there. Did AMD say that they are targeting for the performance crown with this card? Yes or No?

@dyshonest: This is why I like AnandTech. They show what is the currently available and the launch price that is going on at retailers so it holds both AMD/nVidia accountable in their final assessment of a product right when they launch their reviews so consumers know that the price they are launching is indeed the price both AMD/nVidia claim to launch it at.

@dyshonest: Worse he is criticizing the price of the RX 480 at $200 as to use his words doesn't "blow" him away. Someone please enlighten me what price would the RX 480 need to be to "blow" him away? Not a squelch was made when reviewed the GTX 1080 about the $700 launch price of the GTX 1080. Apparently $700 price good $200 price doesn't "blow" me away.

@justin12421: The $200 price according to him doesn't "blow" him away while no criticism of the price was mentioned in his review of the GTX 1080 which will leave you with a $700 hole in your wallet.? According to him $200 not impressive but $700 seems perfectly fine. LOL.

@jimmythang: First of all you didn't point out that nVidia was charging an extra $100 for a reference model which they didn't do in previous generation in your review of your GTX 1080.

Which puts the price of it at $700 at least which is clearly obscene.

Secondly, you didn't answer the question what price would AMD need to sell the RX 480 to "blow" you away because you are clearly criticizing the launch price of the RX 480 while completely glossed over the fact that the GTX 1080 launch price was $700.

@jimmythang: Did you get a free GTX 1080 from nVidia, Yes or No? Because your bias is clearly showing. You start of with the subtitle "It's performance won't blow you away neither will it's price". So what exact price would it need to launch at to make you happy? $150? Because when it was announced at $200 a lot of people where surprised at how cheap it was. Reading over your 1080 review you completely gloss over the fact that nVidia was charging $800 for a reference card where previously they didn't charge an extra $100 for reference models. If that is price gouging then I don't know what is. There clearly is a conflict of interest when you get a $800 card for free. I ask again what price would the RX 480 need to launch at to "blow you away"?
