What a stupid thread. Game are just garbage that no one uses anymore and pretty much everyone that is interested in Titanfall/CoD already owns a 360. You can also get 12 months of XBL Gold and PSN+ for £20 and brand new 360/PS3 bundles for around £100 so you must get ripped off a lot if you do no research before purchasing stuff. There was also a deal before the XBox One was even released where it was priced new at £350 and the PS4 was also around £30 cheaper with an in store deal for launch.
Bring it to PC then maybe we can start talking competitive.

What about people with experience in both?
You must not have very much experience if you think a console shooter is even remotely close to a skill based pc shooter. The glory days of Quake III are long behind us thanks to the popularity of the casual console shooter.
Halo 2 and 3 are skill based shooters. Just because you don't need the same raw skill that you need in Quake for example doesn't change that. Halo 2 and 3 are still arena shooters and had many advanced mechanics to them but I seriously doubt you have played a console shooter and a PC shooter at a high level

I've played MoH:AA, RTCW, Shadowrun (2007), Quake, Unreal, CoD 1 and more recently Shootmania.
Ive played all of those and more, on top of console games like all the new CoDs, every Halo except Halo4 and OSTDs, killzone 1 and 2, bf:bc, warhawk.
The competitive level on consoles is considerably lower for shooters. For non-shooters? its even lower. (RTS/MOBA unmatched skill caps vs. similiar console titles)
What do you mean "competitive level"? Halo 2+3 had a great ranking system and had plenty of tournaments with MLG. Do you mean skill level? The skill level for Halo is definitely lower than most PC FPS although Halo 2 had stuff like button combo glitches that made it take more skill than a lot of FPS. I hope by MOBA you don't mean League of Legends as that has a capped skill level
