Where I live is almost imposible to get a decent motherboard, so about 7 month ago I bought a Nforce 680i EVGA with a friend that traveled to US, everything was more than fine my games ran excelent but one day I was cleaning my comp, but when extracting one of the last screws my daughter came and scared me (we do it all the time) the problem was I was testing my new eletrical drill to pull out the screw faster, but I FKCTED a chip on the MOBO.

The problem now is that I dont have Motherboard and the best arround here its an Intel DQ965 (only two DDRII slots, 1 PCI-E). My question is, Is there any place where I can send My mobo to be reaired and cost less than 150 dollars?, because I really Like my MOBO Im inloved with it. By the way I have two Videocards I was running SLI

Its very difficult to me to bught a new one, I live in Central America so here are no decent Comp Parts Dealers, every dealer tell me the same freaking **** (the cost is 300 + Taxes -In american Dollars, and you dont have guarantee), so I guess Refurbished comp parts.

The ship is intact but is not on the Mobo and its too small to put it my self, but I know It can be repaired, the thing is I dont know anyone here with the right Equipment. If you know of someone or some serius company that rapairs Motherboards pleas tell me.

Im becoming crazy, I cant sleep I need my COMP. Thanks Anyway Guys.

Im gonna take some photos of the accident te give you guys more info, but its difficult to download the photos on a Cyber cafe.

MMM, Anyone has benchmarks? I read in this and really freak me :

This is a post from Newegg buyer, I understand that its almost imposible what he´s saying, if FSB Its higher the admount of data compiled its too, if the frecuency its higher the calculations too (they have two cores), so its imposible wats hes saying, maybe that benchmark program doesnt have support for 1333 FSB. well im not shure

"Pros: None.

Cons: Ran it against an E6420 both set at 3200 mhz - 1333 against 1066 - and the E6420 beat it every way, shape and form in bandwidths and benchmarks. Gets better benches on the 1066 strap.

Other Thoughts: It's an E6400/6420. Set at 1066 defaults, it's the exact same thing. Identical in benchmarks. INTEL has really rested on their laurels with the new lower-end 6X50 CPUs. Big disappointment."

Just want to be shure, because in newegg is cheaper the E6750 than E6600, in fact i know E6600 FSB = 1066 / E6750 FSB = 1333 the same L2 Chache and E6600 2.4 / E6750 2.6, Its more than obvius that E6750 have better numbers, but Why the hell its cheaper???. Am I wrong?, I know Frecuency, cache and FSB isnt all that matters, there are other things important (the Technologys I dont know) I want to be shure that its bettere because I just sold my E6600 because I still own money (I buy the same Procesor, GPU, MOBo like 3 times and Resell it till I got the money to have my own, JEJEJE), if I can get a better procesor for less price, HELL YEAH!! im in.

Well I got an C2D E6600 and Im very interested in this new baby Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 (3.0 Ghz, 1333 Mhz FSB!!!!!) but I got this motherboard EVGA 680I the SE version (Special for Overcloking the Core 2 duo) so my question its simple will this MOBO give me troubles?.

Im selling my Cor 2 Duo at 300$ jejeje, in my country its hard to find one and if you find it prepare 350 - 400, so this is a good investment.

I have a Core 2 Duo E6600, and I use Zalman 9700 and an 12mm Fan in the rear of the fan, This two WORK GREAT, I dont know Exaclty how cool its in comparation to the default Intel (I never used that), But My room temp its 35º - 40º Celcius, Porcesor Run at 45º under heavy load, But not only the fan, The front pannel for the DVD/CD drives, Its totally opened for best cooling.

DONT MAKE FUN OF MY CASE, ITS RUSTY BUT WORKS, JEJE and I DIDNT GOT THE MONEY TO BUY ONE NEW and BETTER.

Hi!

First My Comp (MOBO EVGA 680i, GPU 8800GTS 320 MB, RAM 2GB 1066 Mhz PNY,Proc C2D E6600, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS(Doenst give me troubles, no bugs at all), and Power Supply Xclio 600 W +12v 18 AMP x 4 . (System Temps Loaded ,Proc 45º , Nforce 35º, GPU 57º) (Room temp 37º to 39 at 12:00 m)

Ok now you know me, my problem is simple when I installed this comp I had no troubles at all, I go to bios to check all velocity to be shure, and check all new tools (First Nforce ship, Only Intel before) everithing was so Fine that I couldnt belive, I dont have much space so I install vista only, Ok so I downloated all the latest Drivers and Ntune, well Install it, everithing fine, so I notice that RAM voltage was Yellow (Nvmonitor) and was running at 800 Mhz (1.85 v) so I restar go to bios, there reads 1066 (wtf), well I droped the voltage to 1.8 then NvMontitor is green light now but still running at 800 Mhz. I know the difference its not so big, but I Expent for something, nothing less than that, besides the Intel FSB its 1066, in order to not create a "Bottleneck" I bought 2 GB 1066mhz, Instead of 4GB of 800Mhz.

Ive never OVerclocked this Comp, its running Smooth, Nice and Clean, thats its the only trouble Besides Vista. I need an advise of someone with experience (I dont have money to buy a new Comp or New Comp parts, live in Nicaragua (Centralamerica), the best memory you can buy here its a Kingston value ram 533 mhz) so if I Fuk my memory, ill be #$%# please helpe me .

Well If your processor is Intel, I recomend you to buy 2 GB of RAM Corsair Value Ram DDR2 667, Videocard MSI Nvidia 8600 GTS, Motherboard EVGA Nvidia Nforce 680i. All this in newegg or tigerdirect. This for 500

But my advise Buy a videocard EVGA 8800 GTS 320MB + Power Suply 500 W Sli Certified + EVGA Nforce 680I + 2GB of RAM DDR2 667 any brand but not the cheapest one (read reviews). This for 700 US$
