The speaker positioning is hilariously bad. Probably sound like tin cans.

1. The overall budget is $325
2. The board must have a PCIe slot for my soundcard (asus stx)
It's more expensive and I prefer it that way. It keeps the cheap gamers out.
Can't wait to play it. The Witcher 1 is one of my favourite games of all time. And I can't believe it's been 8 years since I first played the game, it feels like yesterday.
1. Hearthstone
2. Dragon Age Inquisition
3. Far Cry 4

[QUOTE="m3Boarder32"] Why? Xbox 360 had more AAA and more AA gameslostrib
You need to check your stats. The PC has had more AA+ exclusives than all consoles combined, every year, for as long as anyone has bothered to keep track.
But you're too good to plug your PC into TEH PLASMA, and that means consoles win everything, right?
he's talking about all games, not just exclusives. But just ignore him
PC wins overall actually. It's just that gamespot didn't give scores to identical multiplats.http://asia.gamespot.com/grid/platform/pc/
There's one example.
[QUOTE="lostrib"][QUOTE="GOGOGOGURT"]
PC gamers need to get off their high horse. PC gaming may not need to be "saved", but it leaves much to be wanted. It's the only reason why I don't game on PC. The market isn't there.

If you can only get one platform, it should be PC
Why? Xbox 360 had more AAA and more AA gamesIts because there's a large number of multiplats for pc that havent been given scores on gamespot. One of the best threads I've seen in a while. The console peasants have been owned.I base my experience on a PSN version.
1. Everything needs a higher texture definition. Although graphics in general look nice you may notice low res texture everywhere. The glaring flaws are
- NPC skins are plastic-looking, despite having good animations.
- Vegetation is just awful,
- Ground textures look like basic colours of green (grass) and yellow-white (sand)
When I ran GTA5 for the first time, I needed 2h to adjust my eyes for that poor definition.
2. Frame rate is arround 20-30 fps.
3. Shooting is just awful aim-assist. One can not enjoy the best gameplay mechanic of the game because aim assist is just plain boring. The game will automatically stick the crosshair to the closest enemy. And with free aim, you will have the same precision like playing golf with your foot. It becomes quite noticeable during shooting challenges. In those occasion, shooting becomes a frustrating endeavor if you want to get something higher than the bronze.
Free-aim is super frustrating as the game throws at you not 3-5 enemies, but waves of enemies. Some achievements are plainly ungettable with a controller.
GTA5 begs for mouse precision in shooting segments. I REPEAT, the game aim for you. You basically don´t even need to adjust the crosshair.
4. Driving is meh. Really. The game needs mods.
- The cars are ultraresistant.
- Driving with a PS3 controller is a pain. Throttle is barely adjustable with a PS3 controller triggers. I´d rather drive with keyboard and mouse to this point. Keyboard had better precisions in GTA4 than driving in GTA5 with the PS3 controller.
- Sense of velocity is lost. I think it´s because of a poor framerate.
5. City feels quite empty.
6. 50-meter drawing distance
And general observations.
1. Gameplay is pretty equal to GTA4. The city themself feels even smaller than Liberty City. And the countryside is just roads with hills. The only difference I can see is the GTA5 is much more colourful and sunny, and the story missions are much more cinematic.
2. Changing characters doesn´t change gameplay drastically. Basically it means that you complete first all missions with Franklin, then switch to Micheal and compelte all Michael´s missions untill you reach a story point that involves all characters. Completing the story point unlocks new individual missions. This is it.
3. All that fun stuff you can do in GTA5, according to IGN trailers, you can NOT do until you grind for better weapons, train your characters, and buy itunes for the dog, adn unlock new type of activities, meaning you will have to put dozens of hours into the game first.
So here you are warned. GTA5 is totally not worthy on consoles. You are better off waiting for a PC version. For a good reason, GTA5 is not 9.8 on user MC.

[QUOTE="GoldenElementXL"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"] The 4 most important aspects of video quality are: 1. Contrast 2. Saturation 3. Accuracy 4. Resolution In that orderm3Boarder32I don't even know how to respond to this. You have got to be kidding. A TV cannot improve textures, antialiasing or add particle and lighting effects. Well u basically responded by touring the benefits of higher resolution textured and AA, which is a form of improving perceived resolution. But again, that's only the 4th most important aspect to picture quality according to the Imaging and Science Foundation.Yeah it is only the 4th most important, but image quality is only as good as the weakest link in the chain, and consoles are a joke in that department
