It would be interesting to see if gta5 would have been so polished and if the graphics and driving physics would have been so good if it had a hacking mechanic like watchdogs. I think I can live with a little less polish for the sake of a fresh new element to open world gameplay.
Well maybe they're saving the drones for watchdogs2 I'm sure they will take everyone's complaints on board and watchdogs 2 will be a lot better, watch out R* better get those thinking caps on.
I felt like that to dude, at first I even wished I never bought watchdogs, and lol it made me wanna play Gta also even though Gta has been gathering dust on my shelf for a few months.
After a day playing it I got into. I think it's a good start for the series and watchdogs2 will be much improved.
It took me a while to get into farcry3 at first I did think it was boring and to similar to farcry2 but I started really enjoying it especially the kill moves, I was relishing in killing the pirates, I enjoyed driving around and would rarely fast travel.
Took me a while to figure out how to enjoy WD I almost started wishing I never bought it on release.
All though watchdogs isn't as good as everyone thought it would be it still brings a new element to openworld gameplay, I know hackin has been done in games for a while but not to this scale, hopefully it will be the start of more innovations in openworld gameplay.
My view is that watchdogs couldn't have the finish and the polish of Gta5 and have the scanning hacking mechanics as well, but I thought next gen consoles would be able to cope with such a work load.
