Super psyched. I got the news today that i've got some decent money coming in. So i'm gonna be finally stepping up to 4k with a new TV. Plus gonna get a 1440p high-refresh monitor for when I wanna play some more intensive games. Means I gotta upgrade my GPU in a couple months though...
Nicely done! I got mine on Black Friday 2017. It was on sale for £1399 down from £2400. 55in LG OLED 4K. In the mean time, I've bought another car.
@davillain-: I've been around, lurking. I do have a gaming pc but I've become sort of disillusioned with it. Its still running dual 980Ti's and a 5930K which is ok for what I still play. I do have a Titan X Pascal plus a 1080, 1070 and 1060. Not including the 1050ti and the older 780ti. I got the hardware, even got an Ivy Bridge E 6 core with a new motherboard and ram kit lying around. I've just lost interest in it. I spent a boat load of cash on that hardware back when I was running Folding At Home like a mad man. I was something like the 4th or 5th highest producer for Overclock.net which was no mean feat. Maybe I'm just burnt out but given the way the industry is, both hardware and gaming I'm not surprised. All the big budget games are loot boxed filled micro-transaction filled crap and the indi titles just justify having a super duper PC. The hardware is so over priced, it just puts me off considering what games are around to showcase the hardware.
I don't know about you guys but nothing so far has made me want to upgrade my PC. I'd rather spend the money on consoles where the games are at the moment. Even the PS4 Pro version looks amazing.

Missed your post! Yeah, I think the old GS site was just becoming far too dated for the evolution of media-consumption... More video/audio rather than written articles. It just sucks that it was botched so badly initially that it drove long-time users away. I'm not entirely sure why I stuck around, maybe it was just for the nostalgia.
I used to post every single day. Hell I remember bouncing between OT and SW, I do miss the good days when the mods are actually tough and you had to be creative in your trolling. I remember my original ban thread, that was fun.
I got two choices, buy it on PC or get it from Amazon for PS4 Pro. Both are the same price.
One of the few games I'd say just get it on console, the pc port isn't very good. If you do go PC just make sure you get the FAR mod.
I ended up getting on PS4 Pro, just placed the order with Amazon. I read that it doesn't play nice with montiors that aren't the usual resolutions. I have a 21:9 Ultra-wide. Since I got it on PS4, I can play it on my 55in OLED LG 4K TV that I got recently.
