@TheFlush: Wow an hour! That's pretty fast and do you have to know how to play the piano? Or just know the theory behind the piano because I was thinking of learning the theory and getting into some of the production side..

@MarcRecon: Surprised no eminem!
I like eninem, I'm just not a fan of most of the mainstream rappers in general! I like oldschool and most of the underground/independent artist! Most of these guys are just as if not more talented then known rappers. The fact is that most(not all) independent artist subject matters are more focused on lyrical wit, true musical talent, social & political consciousness and just plain entertainment. Major music labels won't sign artist like that because capitalism, not consciousness is what sells.
Most of the commercial rapper don't rap about anything other then sexism, violence and greed! I don't even consider what is being played nowadays REAL hiphop anyway. Now, I'm not blaming the current music industry alone for selling capitalism, I would say the entire entertainment industry is the culprit.
Check out Immortal Technique on Youtube. He's a truly talented lyricist with some dope tracks behind him and he really does have subject that are worth listening too.
Ohh yea i feel you and Immortal is dope!!!
@MarcRecon: Surprised no eminem!
@TheFlush: That's really dope!! How long does it take you to produce a beat? I haven't really got into production but I might soon.
I remember years ago there used to be a lot of rappers on here oddly enough haha hoping some of you guys come through with some music!
Its been a while since I been on here but was wondering if any of you game spotters create your own music?? Kind of would be interesting if we all shared our personal music we made and get feedback! Also would be cool to hear your top three artist!
So post your song ! And say the genre and name of the song!!

Also how hot should the signal be for vocals??? Thanks guys
Hey guys so i been really struggling to find much information on this. But basically i have the ART Pro MPA mic amp and i am having trouble just understanding how this all works. I don't know if this is right but basically; the mic signal travels into the pro amp and the input knob determines how much signal we want in the amp, then the output knob is how much we want to send into the pro tools mbox and then the input knob on that is how much signal we want to go into pro tools??
Lmao im really confused i dont know how this all works im doing some weird stuff i have the +20db on the amp, with both input and output on the amp a little past 12 noon and then i have a pad on my mbox and the input just raised a quator.
Im sure im doing this totally wrong can someone please explain to me how i should do this? Im so confused thanks
Hey thanks for responding and it cant be because it works fine on garageband thats the weird thing.
Hey im using pro tools and my midi keyboard and the problem is every note i play on the midi keyboard is the same pitch. It doesn't change. And most of the drums dont
play on the keyboard. But everything works in the piano roll all the drums work and the keys are all different pitches. I cannot figure this out can someone help please?
