Well, I hope I posted this in the right place, because I cannot find any "software-related" topics around here. If I did something wrong, then I apologize.

Nevertheless, the problem is with the Flash plugin, you know, the one that allows youtube videos to play. Every time I stumble across a video, that's obviously functioning with Flash, a yellow bar pops out from beneath the adress bar and I have two options: Update plug-in, but this where the weirdness is, when it redirects me to the adobe site it says that my Google Chrome is up to date with this Flash plugin, and when I pick the other option "Run this time" it works as it should, perfectly, no video playback issues or stuff, just plain fine. So what do I do? It's annoying to press Run this time at every video on youtube don't you think?

Yes, I live in Europe, the game came out in November. It's damn fun and addictive, improves over the prequel a lot.

I'm stuck at two worlds 2 in the seventh tomb, I reached the main chamber but I can't find the exit, it's impossible I usually ended up getting into the main chamber again. Can someone give me some directions or a video, because I didn't find anyone of these.

does it work properly in the windows game controller settings? If not it is a driver issue. Is there some settings/button that turns analog on/off? Try some old game like gta sa that works off direct input rather than xinput and see if it works. If you want simplicity with controller support in pc games get a 360 controller. imprezawrx500
Windows game controller settings? Where's that, I only found set up a USB game controller in the control panel.

Wow, never thought of that! I'll try itdynamite_gamez7
Nope, doesn't change almost anything. In Darksiders the right stick doesn't even control the camera!

I am really pissed off right now. So, I had a gamepad, and it worked like crap(the camera was awkard, if I wanted to move the camera up it went left etc.). After asking for help, and all that stuff I finally decided that the gamepad itself it's guilty for it. So I bought this gamepad hoping that finally the camera problem and stuff would be fixed. But no, it's the same thing. Tried almost everything(calibrating, xpadder, no drivers for it as the site says). Tried with Darksiders and The Saboteur. It's fine with racers games because it doesn't require the use of the camera. But on 3rd-Action-Adventure etc. it just doesn't want to work properly. And it's not from the setting of the game. I'm really pissed off... Please help!!

So my old PC has finally died and I am looking to get a new one. I don't want to spend too much so am looking at £500 max (thats about 750 USD). However, I have previously tried to buy medium end systems in the hope that I will be able to at least get some gaming out of them, but more often than not I find that trying to beef up a medium-end system is like pouring money down the drain. For example, it's all well and good buying a nice GPU, but if the supporting processor/ram etc is fairly average, the results tend to me fairly average at best.

Is it possible to build a PC for £500 that can actually play recent games reasonably?

Well, yes, but some parts from your old pc can be still used(such as the case, which will save some money). A configuration like this should not exceed your budget GPU: HD5770 CPU:AMD Athlon X2 250 (3.0 ghz, Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2 RAM: 2 gigs of DDR2 should suffice PSU: Any Antec or Corsair with at least 450W GPU- 230-250$ CPU- 70$ Motherboard- 80$ RAM- 80$ PSU: 80$-100$ You should spen a maximum amount of 580$ with all of these. Sure, the prices varies from place to place and from week to week so it may take even less or even more. In any case, it should be just fine. Hope that helps :)

[QUOTE="dynamite_gamez7"][QUOTE="Daytona_178"] If its on another partition cant you just format that partition?neatfeatguy

I can't afford to lose all the data. :)

You don't format the entire hard drive, which is what Daytona is saying. You just format the partitions that the new Windows installations are on. You can do this easily with the Disk Management tool. To get there (at least in Vista, should be similar for Win 7), do this:

1. Click on the Start Button

2. Open Control Panel

3. Open Administrative Tools

4. Open Computer Management

5. Under the Storage option on the left of the window, you should see Disk Management under it. Click on Disk Management once to select it.

6. In the window you should see your hard drive listed and any partitions the hard drive is set to have. Right click on the new Win 7 partitions and pick the Delete Volume... option. Be sure you delete the correct volumes and not the main one you use. Deleting the volume will erase everything in that particular volume and leave all information in all other volumes alone.

7. After you delete the unwanted volumes you may need to extend the main volume out to reclaim the delete ones (I can't recall if you do or not for certain). To do this, just right click on your hard drive, choose Extend Volume and follow the couple of steps that pop up.

Thats what I remember in dealing with extra partitions/volumes on hard drives, when you want to delete them. I hope this helps. If I forgot something, hopefully someone else can correct or add to it.

Thx for those advices. It worked. Thanks a lot!
