It started out a simplistic linear otaku type RPG...ended up having an extremely deep character connection and progression system on top of standard level ups and unfoled to have a fantastic gameplay system depending on what weapons magic and attack types you choose for each character...of which you get up to 14 interchangeable characters at any given time with their own play style and attributes.
I thought I was going to dumb the game after a couple of hours :/ but when I beat it..it opened up to an entirely NEW game NOT to be confused with a plus game (of which there were 3 in total) and I ended up beating the collection of 3 games offer and now I'm on an actual PLUS game and get to keep all the characters I've earned.
I'm more shocked at myself because I didn't remember purchasing this game and by the art figured I'd never play it or that at best i'd give it a couple of minutes and uninstall it from my library....ended up being one of the funnest games I've played this gen O_o.
I'm surprised someone besides Nepu loves the series so much. However, you got the name wrong, you meant Megadimension Neptunia VII. I don't think it was that good to be counted as one of the best JRPGs recently, not with games like Persona 5 around. I agree that it has a lot of content and the gameplay does have some interessting approaches, but I really hated the story and I hate most of the characters in the game. It was entertaining enough to keep me playing until the plat, but it's not amongst the best JRPGs IMO.
Damn!! glad to see more people on these forums enjoy the Neptunia franchise.
I literally own every single Neptunia game to date and i've played them all except the two PS4 games ( been far too addicted to other games on PS4 lol)
To me the neptunia games are entertaining and surprisingly the gameplay of each game gets addictive the more you play plus the video game humor gets me each time, i been hearing good things about the most recent one that just came out on PS4, reminds me of Sword Art online.
I used to be a huge Destiny fan but bungie ruined everything about the franchise with destiny 2, plz don't buy the game it's not worth it, I regret it big time
As long as bungie is the developer of Destiny it will never become what it was promised to be
