Gufu was created and cultivated in 2006 by moody, jaded, out of touch with reality jerks like me. A long the way people have left, moved on, come back, went to college, became game developers, etc etc. One thing has remained. The spirit of fellowship through mutual likes and dislikes of games, movies, books, art, and porn. 

I was 16 when I joined GUFU shortly after its inception. Seven years later I am married with a beautiful daughter, and while my life has changed completely I can honestly say that I wouldn't be who I am today without the friendships I have gained, and lost in GUFU. (Hey Justin, no hard feelings about you being a filthy lemming, ya?)

I don't know what the point of making this thread is, as the group will still persist on the IRC, STEAM, and gufuyourself.cmm (Endlessbacklog.com to be), but I suppose if anyone is still even checking this forum..

Here's the FBI link for firearm related deaths from 2007 to 2011.It was even higher in 1994, but then they really clamped down on gang crime on the west coast and for a good 5 years it just plummeted. In 2004 the gun crime rate went up just a tiny bit but has been falling ever since. I believe 2012 is the first year in 20 years we've actually seen an increase in overall violent crimes.Wasdie
