Hmm if GS could revert back to the old, you could see a lot of older users returning that were once here.
Of course if they found out. I know some still poke in every now and then.
Though I do miss the badge system and leveling up.
I used to manage the leaderboards for those and that in itself would inspire people to be more active
in hopes of making the said list I used to keep track of. Now whether it was good activity or not, that's another story. :P
But there were a lot of positives with the old site that simply vanished in the new. Now had they been able to shift to this new while keeping the old as well, I think things could have been better.
kitty's forum posts
Not sure, I've used this site for so long now. Since 2002 ish and before it was even known as gamespot.
It used to be called videogames.com
I made an account in 2003 which still exists, and then came to this one in 2006 cause I liked the name better.
It's been my primary gaming site since then.
Off topic used to be crazy active in the older days and would have been number 1 for sure.
But that's just my opinion. I miss the older forum layout and the other boards that used to be there.
For me on my usage it would be
Off Topic / Games Discussions / and everything else afterwards.
I have not, but I have seen someone do it before.
This is a tough one, but for me depends on the food and who is making it/where I'm getting it from.
Sometimes homemade can be really good and sometimes restaurant is much better.
As a kid
I found there were a lot of games and stuff I played that I certainly wouldn't dabble with now.
Games changed and aren't quite the same as they used to be.
I was more into going out and even exploring abandon places and liked finding old things.
I got older and don't have the time for that anymore and the interest isn't quite the same.
I didn't like watching tv much, but cartoon network was good and it would glue me to the tv when my favorite cartoon/show came on.
Gamespot forums were also more active and I miss that very much as I've been a part of this for a very long time now.
I was looking for codes and to submit them, I used to submit codes to gamefaqs which was a part of gamespot back then.
OT will never leave, it will live forever
I used to have over 25. Almost one to match any color/theme I wanted.
But now I only have a few and I keep it simple so that they can match whatever.
Probably Pokemon and Forza
