@phoenix1289: Totally agree. I don't think these companies are making their marketing divisions any favours by teasing about products that may see a release date in about six years ahead.
I mean what's wrong with marketing a game after release where the underlying message is "This game is awesome and you can go to your local store and buy it today!". I guess they've realised that they can completely rely on influencers on platforms such as Youtube etc to do that kind of work for them for free if they want too.
I prefer the Oldegg deal where you eat an old egg in front of a privileged person and then they throw a storage expansion card on you as you lie on the ground vomiting and shaking
@inmycontrol: IMO The Gran Turismo community is a divided bunch. personally I loved GT4 but I've heard about lots of people claiming that they didn't like it (without stating the actual reasons why, mind you).
GT5 was complete trash in my mind. If you wanted to drive with ABS you had to turn it on for every race. You could even turn on ABS on cars that never had any ABS systems. Loading times were much longer than GT4 and don't forget that the graphics were pretty much the same as in its PS2 predecessor so it really didn't make any sense at all. And don't even get me started on how they skimped on tuning of your cars... Anyways! It was all a complete trash fest IMO.
I didn't even play GT6 because I was so pissed off with GT5. However GT Sport is 👌 Probably the best GT game so far.
So when it all comes down to it. franchises can pick up the pace, they just need to know where they went wrong. and GT has already walked that path at least once no matter who you're asking.
That's crazy, is/was the Versailles office the only Blizzard office in France? I wonder if this will change things for the EU-servers for WoW which have been located in France since the very beginning 😔
