Hardware without games is substantially worse than games without hardware. Sony has proven this by having subpar hardware with successful software title sales. Microsoft needs to wake up and realize this before it's too late, sadly it may already be too late.
Truly a tragedy. My condolences to those who lost their livelihoods. However, let this be a lesson to other devs. They need to produce quality games, they can't expect companies to buy them out and then start to release terrible products like Redfall. Redfall was an insult to gaming as a medium.
The performance and visual increase on the Xbox end is insane! It looks better than the PC and PS5 edition! Hopefully PC and PS5 also gets the patch soon to keep up! 😊
@stickemup: I kind of agree as a Sony fan myself, but like you said the Series X has been shown to be more powerful than PS5. I am more or less asking to get the same experience if we both paid for a $500 console. We should not let Sony slide with this 😅
Amazing improvements by the dev team! As we all are aware the PS5 is really showing its age and is barely able to output 4K resolutions, so it is surprising that the team was able to get this to work on such limitations! The Xbox version is arguably less impressive though, due to pairty limitations imposed by the PS5 it seems the Xbox version was held back a great deal in this update.
@gameboy8877: They're trying hard to remove their name and the perception of their branding. This is a tactic commonly done to mitigate and eventually remove bad press over time.
A recent example of this is Zuckerberg and Meta (formerly Facebook). Zuck noticed that Facebook's attachment to their VR products hindered sales, thus he pitched the move to a separate branding. While this is somewhat common knowledge now, it becomes less common as time goes on and people forget.
