For some time I have been issues with my wifi connection on my Xbox one x.

If I use Ethernet it works fine, unfortunately I’m at a camp and only wifi is available so now I kinda have no other option. My Xbox does not find any wifi networks. I’ve tried hard restarts, delete account and re add, and tried clearing alternate address as some say that helps. Though when I go to do that and prompts the option to restart, nothing happens.

It shows I’m connected to a wireless network but does nothing and I know I’m not. Shows a ipv4 network but no name or data.

I then decided to try the final, reset xbox to factory settings. And now I’m stuck at the setup because it needs wifi, and for some reason my Xbox still thinks it’s connected to that ipv4 network so it thinks I have a connection. But now I can’t do any software updates to proceed past the Xbox initial setup to the home page. I’m at a standstill now.
