I don't think so. If a remake can breath new life to an old classic such as making tweaks to obvious aging aspects/mechanics of a game, then to me, it's absolutely worth it. Especially when actual time and effort are put into it. Some remakes feel like actual cash grabs. But every now and then, you get a remake that you can tell legit effort was made to turning classic into a modern day thriller....
