I just viewed the Citadel DLC on YouTube. Hard to believe folks are saying it was the best DLC. I see no comparison (zippo, zilch) to Shadow Broker's Lair. Mass Effect is a FPS set in space, it's not Payton Place. Though men and women want a fun to play FPS, basically women want Payton Place Sim City with deep relationships. Guys want action and adventure. Hence we wound up with a piece of video gaming garbage called Mass Effect Andromeda. They just had to put a lot of worthless poorly done audio comments during many of the fire fights where 99% of the voices are female ... why? Now I think I know why; ME Citadel DLC.

@Grey_Eyed_Elf:just checked Newegg, i7 7700k is $100 less than Ryzen 1800x but i7 does beat 1800x by minimum 10 fps so it makes no sense to buy the 1800x when you can put the $100 you save on the i7 into the cost for a gaming motherboard

prices are a bit high but not stupid high. EVGA GTX 1070 FTW is currently $480 new, was $400 after rebate before the mining craze hit. EVGA GTX 1080 FTW was $579 new, went up a few weeks ago to $599, same price for the FTW2 and Classified versions (Classified has been $599 for a long time). With Classified having more PWM's it makes no sense to pay $599 for the FTW and FTW2 models. Strange pricing; I guess some online retailers want to sell the Classified version to lower stock ...

Adjusting for inflation that would be $1200 in today's dollars (US) and here I was thinking $400 for a used GTX 1070 was too expensive.

for the past 2 years I've been replaying mass effect 1 thru 3, Metro Redux series and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Then Mass Effect Andromeda came out and I haven't managed to play all the way through even once yet. I get 2/3rds the way through and the audio tracks during fire fights are just to awful to deal with so I stop playing. One of these days I'll get to Meridian. Anyways, now currently on ME 2 and Half-Life 2 while I wait for Metro Exodus next year

was working 3rd shift. Went home, went to bed. A friend came knocking later in the morning and woke me up to tell me. Maybe I was just sleepy, but the news didn't shock/stun me near as much as the Challenger disaster ... go figure

if you find yourself buying a used GPU card for close to, the same or for more $$$ than a brand new one currently cost, think Mass Effect Andromeda is a really fun but challenging game to play OR, you are thinking of maybe selling off your first born to fund your next PC build then you've likely gone too far and might need to consider seeking professional help
